I believe that a gay virgin that has lusted over the same sex is no more guilty than a straight virgin that lusts over the opposite sex. The bible says even "normal" lust is a sin. We would be huge hypocrites if we make gay people feel shamed and guilted when we straights are just as "bad".

So in other words, we'd all pretty much be equally "doomed" if Jesus didn't forgive.

I would say that (and I got this advice from Relena) that you would be worse off not being true to who you are yourself, no matter what you prefer over what. I would hardly say that your doomed though . . . bit of an exaggeration.

I would recommend you look up Desert Streams Ministries. They have a program called Living Waters that is a great help for people who deal with sexualal and relational issues. The man who began it is an ex-homosexual... Andy Comiskey. He's really great. Homosexuality is no an identity. Its brokeness. And you can get healing.

but the blood of jesus broke the curse of sin and death, the curse of evil, leaving only good and not original sin. who cares if he the ultimate masochist? I'm the ultimate hedonist and he loves me. may he have felt no pain. it happens.

Christ said to love your neighbours as you do yourself. If it has to do with love he would understand.

Honestly. I think some people are biologically corrupted from birth and society and the Evil one only helps develop thoughts and feelings for the same sex. Doomed no. That's a bit dramatic, but at a large disadvantage to many in the population, yes.

But then we always have hope for miracles and determination to do the right thing that can superceade that. Desires come not just from our body, but from our spirit as well...

Btw, it took me two years to overcome the temptations completely. Don't give up. It's worth it.

Iv decided im happy being gay. It suits me, it is how i am and im cool with that. Im still going to church and following god. But i don't believe it is wrong.

When i do something truly bad / sinful, god places it on my heart to be a better person and fix my wrongs. but when im with a guy (just normal dating stuff NOT SEX) i don't feel that guilt.

god loves me how i am. END OF STORY.

I think you should live your life without hating yourself, being gay is not wrong. God just wants you to be who you are.

God is Love, Not Hate.
So despite Paul's message to the church in Corinth, which was penned by the Holy Spirit's inspiration by the way, about who will and who won't enter the Kingdom of God, which included homosexuals...despite all that, God wants this guy to be homosexual?
