I love art. I love drawing, painting and making stuff, and i know that that is what i am good at. I really dont have any other talent. Now, i want to be able to use my talent to serve God, but honestly i cant think of a way to do that. i dont even know what kind of art i want to study and work with. Any suggestions from people who also love art?

I use my art in making scripture more alive: I use watercolor, but the fun is letting the Holy Spirit give you pictures to go with different verses.

I make little books for people. I also print them out and leave them in public places.

Hi,
I love art, although I am not very good at drawing. I consider cooking, cleaning, organizing an art and I am very good at these types. But for spiritual use, when I was younger I was on a children's tambourine team. Because it says in the bible that Miriam (I believe that was her name) correct me if I am wrong played the timbrel and it represents warfare. That is an art. My spiritual calling is to be a Sunday School Teacher and that is an art. Anything that we have a talent for I consider an art. I hope this helps.

You consider them an art and are good at them. Art is usually enjoyed by the performer/maker/producer.

You enjoy these activities?

Continue to strive for excellence.

Develop your skills and perhaps experiment to make yourself and your abilities unique. Perhaps pursue more education.

You're situation strikes me as a "God's timing" situation. When the time is right, He'll put you in a particular place with a particular person(s) and use you for His glory.

It's a cool place/position to be in.

:)

When you use your talents, whatever they may be, to glorify God, you are serving Him. Because you are being what He made you to be and you shine a light on His kingdom.

pray about it and give it to God I did and through hard times developing the gift and being unemployed God spoke to myself and someone close to me who I know on the same day about starting a small art business his voice very clear. God is awesome. It might be non monetary related like a ministry at church whatever it is let God do it as others have mentioned and let him be your guide . #ourGodneverfails#

I draw and carve. You can honor god with the money you make through the talent he gave you. Honor him through your art by using your gift to be a blessing. I donate my carvings and art to good causes or people in need like i did two carvings for a two girls who were in a tornado. One died one lived but they were both in my ambulance. That family lost every possession they had and a daughter/sister. So i made a lasting gift from the heart. I carved a log bench worth over 500 for an auction fundraiser for a christrian school. You honor god by just being of excellent character and not over charging etc. You make your arts more about god and blessing people than the money you make. Store up your treasures in heaven. And give god the glory for your work.

Art is a wonderful way to express your love for Christ! Have you studied art history? Art history books are full of beautiful works of art that were inspired by Jesus. Even if you aren't a painter, God is a major theme in many artworks. I would love to talk to you more about this. I love art, and I also l like to make things. You can add me if you want, and maybe we could share ideas : )

I love art. Ive taken a lot of classes, been in shows, and even sold a few. at my old church i would look at the list of people in nursing homes and hospitals thats in the church pamphlet. Id paint or draw something and ask the pastor to give it to the person on the list annonymously. The pastor told me how much it gave them joy.

Whatever you choose to do with your gift of art, the key is to be the best artist you can be and still be deeply and publicly in love with God. The world will be able to put two and two together.
