Ich Spercht Kleine Dutch lol i learned a bit in high school XD
Sorry Loeza, that resembles German, not Dutch... Ich spreche kein Deutsch

Deutsch = German for 'German'
Nederlands = Dutch for 'Dutch'

To make things complicated... :D

I think 'Where is the bathroom?' is the most important phrase to learn in every language. One time in Brazil, I had to go so bad, I couldn't remember the word for 'bathroom' in english, spanish, or portuguese. I just stood there in front of the girl wiggling and stammering. Somehow she knew what I wanted and just pointed in the direction of the bathroom.

I was born in America. No pride at all in it. I actually wish I wasnt sometimes... Not solid anything in ethnicity, but I favor the irish in my blood. I use to go to Mexico monthly. I loved it there. My grandfather started a whole ministry there.
As for snow.... Move to Laredo, they get snow there:p

I could use some extra money! I'm not on strike though, no time to go on strike. Right now I'm actually very upset with Canada. We are hosting the Olympics in Vancouver at GREAT cost to the entire provence & the country. 13 of our schools will be shut down in this area alone... In vancouver they are shutting down the zoo & conservatory not to mention the school crises has hit down there as well. They gave gov grants to upgrade our sports facilities in schools to the tune of millions of dollars but dont have the money to pay our teachers. They have "green" school initiatives where costly renos have been done to make schools green & then others will shut down because of operational costs. I say paint the walls green & call it green, pay our teachers... give our kids a basketball & a hula hoop cause class sizes of 40 are unacceptable! Ok... thats my rant for the day :0). I do love Canada but we arent without our issues thats for sure.

I assume that you and your husband send your kids to a public school. If you could find a reasonable Christian private school that had accreditation or met the educational standards for accreditation, would you consider sending your children? How close is the nearest Christian private school that you would feel comfortable sending them, if you had the money or could get a gov't voucher?
