It's comforting for me to remember that God operates not only on a personal basis of a loving Father towards his children, but also that He does so much more than this condescension of power.. I think of the solar system, nebulas, billions of suns.. then the reverse; molecules, atoms, quarks and other subatomic particles. Some of science has set itself the task of disproving the existence of God (I can understand why, religion in general has had some very bloody controversies associated with it). But, personally, the things that science has found serves to reinforce my belief in God. Considering these marvels of scale, let alone the complex features of life, weather, geology, and everything else, makes it all the more incredible that God himself was incarnate of a woman on earth, as basically a slave, for the salvation of all of mankind. God has the wondrous ability to meet people individually in their personal struggle and totally in the cumulative struggle of mankind. Some would cite suffering, both cumulatively and personally to prove that God doesn't exist... well I have nothing to say about this except for one thing... when you are zoomed in on a small wart on your body and the imperfection of it, obsessing over it and hating it it can indeed become the defining feature of your existence... it takes a real event to force you to zoom out of imperfection to see all of the wonder around you. I heard somewhere that all the sins of mankind are as grains of sand cast into the oceans of God's wonderful mercy, compassion and love. Think of that! all the war, death, famine, all the uncleanness that constantly bombards us, these demons that try to rob our peace so we live in hell (not only in the afterlife but also hear and now) all of that is basically nothing compared to God and his features. You can speak about God for volumes because ultimately no words can even begin to describe his in the very least, ultimately he is indescribable and unknowable except for his actions in our lives, personified in Christ Jesus our Messiah and the works of the Holy Spirit who is everywhere present and fills all things! The very wonders of the natural world attest to the unknowable quality of Our Father, Who art in Heaven... just some thoughts of an unworthy sinner.

I was getting into the testimony until I heard the word "quark" and "live in hell". Yes, God is in creation and can be seen in many wonders (e.g. AnswersInGenesis), but we should be very careful when listening to leaders which tell us Hell is now e.g. Rob Bell... also... The entire video of "Submerging Church" is worth watching if you get the chance. God Bless. :)
