I've always this topic hard. We know scientists and believer have different understanding on how old this planet is. Is it possible that it is 20000 years old? 1 million years old? I mean I forgot what verse it was but one year in our eyes is different in God's year. So what's your guys opinion?

I don't see what the age of the earth has to do with evolution, but you could look at it this way, evolution of itself is simply theory. It cannot follow through with the scientific method, therefore it cannot be proven, even if it were to be proven one day who's to say that that's not how God developed the living beings on the earth? As for the age of the earth anything is really possible I think. The bible never tells us how old the earth is, any timeline written in study bibles are complete guesses and no one really knows for sure.

Like zaoman32 has said. No one really knows for sure how old the world is and when people debate about it I just have to laugh because to me it's not really that important on how old the world is. Sure it's interesting but there are much bigger problems/issues that everyone should focus on instead of worrying about how old the world is because in the end, it won't matter how old the world is when Jesus comes back.

Evolution is the belief that people evolved over billions of years. No scientist out there can explain macro-evolution, yet they all believe it. People have actually looked into history and lined up proper dates of events from the Bible. The Bible also has years that show through genealogy as listed in the Bible and between events. They have studied this so much to find that the earth is between 6,000 to 10,000 years old. So If you take the Bible as literal, no, it is impossible for the earth to be millions or billions of years old. To trust evolution, one would have to take a big leap of faith in man that he is correct on something that he doesn't understand and can't explain. No one has yet to explain macro evolution at a microscopic level, yet it is important to the theory of evolution.
That verse is basically saying God is not bound by time like man is....
