Hi ht... you haven't been welcomed, no? so welcome-). I really want to stay longer and chat, but sometimes there are details and details to attend to, so see u again. You'll find all sorts of ppl here, depressed, lonely, cheery, etc. Just be patient, coz sometimes there are also those who aren't so (patient).

I'm sorry you feel that way. I can relate to it a good deal, though. I know this advice is probably terrible, but have you considered a pet? I just got my first (he's my avatar on here) and honestly he's already helping me feel considerably better. I hope you make friends here. There's many a swell individual and a friendly face here. I'm more than willing to be your friend myself even.
You know I had a season in my life where I got rid of all of existing friends and started over -- when I was in my late teens and early 20s. I felt alone and depressed for a long time, but looking back now, I realize that I felt closer to God during that alone time more than any other time in my life.
Life is much louder and distracting now and that peace and quite is a little missed. It was a time to really study the bible and just draw super close to God so that He can reveal things to you. We shouldn't be afraid to be alone with God and don't allow negative emotions, thoughts, destroy something that could be your most intimate moments with God. The holy spirit being so gentle sometimes has a hard time getting through all the noise to talk to us or we just can't recognize the voice.
So, you have a choice before you -- treasure and use that alone time for your benefit and learn what God is teaching you or let it defeat you and waste it.
