Hey all! Greetings in our Lord Jesus Christ. First I'd like to say this is my first post here--and I'd like to introduce myself. I'm Kate. I'm 21. And I've been studying the Faith for about a year now.

I thought I'd ask some of my brothers and sisters for some advice on a current situation I'm dealing with. I've been best friends with this girl for about 12 years and we both recently were saved. Me a year and her a little less. Last Friday, both her, I, and her boyfriend were at a local carnival and as soon as I got there I felt uncomfortable. I got a strong conviction to get away from the place and that is exactly what I did. I told her that I needed to go for a walk. I know I should have pulled her aside to tell her what made me want to leave, but at that moment I just felt I needed to leave. The next day I tried to contact her and she got very mad, told me I was rude for leaving, and would not let me explain myself. I've tried to ask her to talk but she will not talk to me. From a Christian perspective I'm not sure how to proceed. I've been praying about it and obviously things get a lot more complicated than this, but I am trying to deal with this one day at a time. Has anyone been in a situation like this before? I know it seems trivial, but I'm hurt and would like some advice or Scripture to help me through this.

Thank you so much! God bless!

I'd let your friend cool off first, so wait a few days or however long you feel she needs. After that just try to explain to her how you felt and that it wasn't anything against her. If shes a true friend she'll forgive you. Hope this helps :)

I agree. Just let her chill for a while and then come back to her and try to work things out. And whatever you do, know that she's probably feeling hurt, too, because she doesn't know the whole story. Pray for her and keep loving her even if she isn't showing you love right now.

I'm sorry that this is happening, though. Hang in there!
