Hello peoples,

my name is John, I am 22. I am really awkward at least I think I am. I was wondering if people would like to be my friend and just have chats, talk about life, prayer, and even have fun. Welcome EdensPeace. After reading your post I can confirm that you are awkward but that's ok. We will like you anyway. Besides there are quite a few of us who are awkward or lacking in social graces here. So what are some of your favorite topics to talk about? Throw out something unique or intriguing and you will attract like-minded individuals. As an example, I've had several conversations about star wars with people on here because they had screen names or avatars that showed they were interested in star wars.

One tip about making friends from CS Lewis (my paraphrase of his idea): People who simply want friends can't find any because every friendship has to have something to be about.

Let us know what you're about and I'm sure you'll find some friends in no time.

I like long Walks on the beach, at sun set... Just kidding.

Well people have a good idea what you are interested in now. I'm a big reader too mostly of scifi or fantasy stories or christian fiction. I like computer games and have taken great pains to not play long epic life engulfing games because I know they would engulf my life, but secretly I go to armor games or addicting games or find something on the iTunes store that I think is worth my money and buy it.

Online the secret is to just jump in and have a thick enough skin that you don't get all bent out of shape when people disagree with you. So have at it and if you catch me in the chat rooms you should say hi.
