Confuscious say:

When called an idiot its sometimes better to be quiet than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt.

Man with one chopstick go hungry.

Man who run in front of car gets tired. Man who run behind car gets exhausted.

Man who pushes piano down mineshaft suddenly hears A flat miner. (that one's for u Jullianna)

Wise man never plays leapfrog with unicorn.

A fool flatters himself, a wise man flatters the fool.
Edward G. Bulwer-Lytton

I find people who think there are wise are often the most foolish.

For the foolishness of God is wiser than man's wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man's strength. 1 Cor 1:25 :)

This makes me think of Shakespeare.

Precisely why I am not wise. I am not God. I will always be pale in comparison.

wise as a serphant and gentle as a dove. scripture verse. It takes widsom sometimes a lot of it in certain situations. It's like getting to the point, but taking another way to get there, you never know which way a serphant will strike because of it's body form, it can bend either way, very quickly. Widsom is also being gentle. If my friend asked me if I liked a book she read, and I thought it was not suitable for a christian, I would use wisdom in saying things in a gentle manner, not to offend. bible says a fool says what ever he feels like. True Widsom also is like a light switch on, thinking before you speak and also thinking in align with the word of God. Proverbs seek wisdom, to me wisdom is knowing the words of the Lord, and knowing his character and how to respond to others.:)
