Hello there! I'm just wondering what the others think about this. I already know the answer, just curious on what the others think about being a Born Again Christian. And to become clear to others as well, some may not understand yet. God bless everyone! :)

Does RELIGION save?

Why are there SO MANY if religion saves?

It is BEING BORN AGAIN, perhaps a day after each day.

Only GOD saves (He also saved JESUS, my Lord)

Contrary to what most mainstream Christians will say, yes Christianity is a religion. Part of that religion is having a relationship with Jesus Christ, and part of that religion is external works that poor out because of your faith.

[h=3]James 1:26-27 ESV / 87 helpful votes[/h]If anyone thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this person's religion is worthless. Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.

It means coherency! and the applying it to people (perhaps not yet reached). :)

Being Born again, is like a reset button to your life. This is how I see being born again. Your life can become hectic to the point you need to do something to be less hectic with life's trials and tribulations. Jesus said for us to be born again, to hit that personal reset button to your life and start again, BUT! with added features. GOD!

Having God in your life after you made the choice to be born again, is the most wonderful thing. as you will be corrected according to his will. His judgement is just. He will be there to pick you up if you make a mistake. However! all depends how much you trust him to lift you out or up of things.

You become more spiritual, and you will see things like never before. the meaning of things, you will see things from different angles. and the best thing of all. is that you come as you are, what I mean by that? you don't have to join a religion, to do this or that to get saved. you don't have to say 500 hail Mary's, you don't have to touch golden statues, or do this or do that to gain salvation. Just come as you are, and the one thing that God really wants from you is? BELIEF.

Turn away from your old self, and begin a new born again spiritual journey with God. your answers to all your questions are there in his word. That's how I see being born again.

This is true Richie, I like your point of view on this, forgot about this. We need to be refreshed on a daily basis, as we cleanse our body, with water, why not cleanse our spirit, mind, with the cleansing power of the HOly Spirit. Sometimes I say the sinners prayer all over again, that's just me though. :)
