again its the old broken record talking. find a good christian counselor, a trained, licensed, professional, not a pastor who claims to counsel. if you cant find one, call the nearest salvation army and im sure they can give you a referral. it sounds like you have to sort some things out. remember, god gives us strength but god also may have given someone else the training and christian calling to help you sort these things out. im praying for you.

It also depends on the assumptions made by the person giving advice, on the subject of human nature, whether, Biblical, secular, etc.

I think everyone here has great input, you just need to pray about, and while you are at it, ask God to deliver you from OCD...don't tell me he can't because a God who can create something out of nothing, and do big things, can do the little things as well. He is God enough to do it!

He may be perfect , but God sees what we don't, he may not be the right one...so you should definitely ask God about it and ask other trusted Christian friends or a pastor to pray on it as well.
