My faith is shaking & I keep on having nightmares.

My faith was shaking for a long time now & I'm getting nightmares. Please give me your opinion on this, I couldn't go back to sleep.
1) I was in a hall with a bloody clown on the floor and he grabbed my leg so I kicked him in his face. His blood was running on the floor towards me. I closed the door of the hall then.
2) I was at the park with my cousin. We were playing some game on a piece of paper and I randomly started drawing geometric shapes. When I was done I realized it says "Hell". I then started running towards my friend who was talking to priest on the other side of the lake in the park. The ground was muddy and sticky, I was bare foot.
3) I was in the field. It was night. I burned like 10 random men, they were tied together and one just wouldnt die. I kept setting him on fire but he would still be staring at me. I was w my friend laying on the ground then. I threw those men far behind me. Then some neighbor there saw me. He started chasing me with a car because I was a killer. And all I thought was "I'm s sorry. I don't know why I did it. Don't kill me, I can go to prison just don't kill me".

Then I woke up....thanks for upcoming replys.

Didn't read the dreams closely. Nightmares are just nightmares. Don't make something out of nothing. I've had all kinds of nightmares in my life. Or just bad dreams. Doesn't mean anything deep or spiritual.

They are very scattered dreams with some strings happening…they don't seem correlated to each other just some random emotionally packed scary event and pictures…
One question you need to ask yourself is why are they bothering you so much? You don'y need to give dreams any meaning if deep down you have a knowing that it can be related to something, some emotions you feel while you are awake…
if not, they are just bad dreams…
I had some bad dreams that I just disregard..some of them, I tend to pray about them and move on because it's better not to dwell too much on bad dreams, they are not a reflections of God's wisdom if all they do is to scare you with no clear meaning….
remember, they are dreams…dreams should give you directions and hope…if they don't make sense to you, disregard them pray and move on...

Nightmares scare me because they always include the Devil or Hell.

You need to establish a relationship with Jesus, get saved and receive the Holy Spirit. It is possible you are being attacked by demons because you possibly didn't prepare yourself for Christ to combat them. You shouldn't be having these severe nightmares if you are truly saved with the Holy Spirit.

Judging by the early attendance of one clown I'd say that you've probably been watching too many horror movies. However, all of your nightmares involve you doing something, and then running away from it, scared to die. I'm no gypsy, but it seems like you're running from something.

Before you go to sleep pray to God and ask him to remove all those nightmares that keep on coming. Also rebuke those thoughts in Jesus name and command them to leave in Jesus name. Never give up, Jesus is always there for you and he has you in the palm of his hand. He will never give up on you so don't give up on him. Keep on fighting and know that he loves you so much and he wants the best for your life. I dont know what your going through but if you want to talk about it you can send me a message. Your dreams are based on Fear, so I'm going to say your fearful in reality as well. I'm assuming your a christian and that your born again. Be-careful about watching scary movies. Also it is a possibility that someone is in your life that is into the occult. Regardless of where it may stem from if your born again you are protected. You need to rest in the Lord, put your eyes onto Jesus and RELAX.

Look up Joseph Prince he's an amazing Grace preacher, he's helped me in so many way's. :)

I don't think that your lack of faith and nightmares are directly connected. Of course, like GraceRevelation said, fear is the problem in terms of the nightmares, and fear is a by-product of little faith.

So I'm more interested in what you mean by your faith is "shaking." I assume you're having doubts? You have questions you don't know the answers to? Don't worry, we all go through it (usually when we're fresh and new in the faith). There are two simple solutions: A) Trust in God; you may not understand Him, but TRUST Him - He is GOD! And B) If you have doubts and questions, ask and seek for answers!

I had a billion questions that I needed to ask when I was doubting God and His word. The good news is that it's not a sin to ask Him questions; in fact, He wants us to get to know Him better. How else do you get to know someone without studying them? I found all the answers to just about every single doubt and question I had on this website: Bible Questions Answered Why? Because it answers straight from the Bible in a comprehensive and easily understandable way. I can't recommend it enough.

"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you." ~ Matthew 7:7

Very sorry to hear of your nightmares. Although I do not know your personal circumstances behind your nightmares, I would like to encourage you with this verse:

''Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.'' Mark 9:23-24

This verse in context is speaking of a father who had his child possessed of a foul spirit, with the faith of the father faltering, doubting that Jesus could cure his child. He had just enough faith to cry out to Jesus to help him with his unbelief. All of us have times in our lives when our faith falters, even John the Baptist, in his discouragement in prison, doubted whether in fact Jesus was the Christ(Matt 11:1-3).

Sometimes all we can do is call out to Jesus to help our faltering faith. Lord bless.

Whenever I get overwhelmingly scared I just pray and ask God to keep me and my family safe.

This could mean a couple of things. The truth may hurt, but it will make you stronger.
These nightmares could be signs from God telling you this is what you will be living in when you die because you are getting way to far away from Him. Doing way to much sin, not enough repenting. And things of that sort.

The other could be the Devil is after you. He is wanting you to see how things are like that to make you feel as if you want to be burning people, and things of that sort. He is wanting you to think that hell is better than heaven and you should come stay with him instead of God.

If I where you I would be praying big time. Prayer for God to help you make things right with Him, and show you what you need to do for Him.

Is there a particular reason that your faith is shaking?
Nightmares often reveal our subconscious, therefore if you have negative things in your subconscious you are a lot more likely to have nightmares. Examples would be if you have watched horror movies (but you already said you don't watch them so we can mark that off the list), read books of a horror/thriller genre, have been thinking about negative things like Hell, the Devil, etc. Also depression, anxieties, worries, fears in your waking life will cause nightmares in your sleep.
However, sin in your own life will have the biggest effect of all. Don't underestimate the chaos sin can cause in your life; physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
Maybe consider some kind of gentle deliverance ministry, but most of all give all of your worries and problems to Christ. Ask Him to free you, pray for His peace, for peace of mind and soul. Pray that He will fill your mind and your dreams, your life.
