First of all i want to defin 2 kinds of Homosexual Christians, offcourse you can reply back if you dont agree.
Passive Christians who have the lust for the Same Sex but dont practice it
Active Christians who have the lust for the Same Sex and Practice it.
This is a Testimony i wouldnt write if i would care more about my Glory then the Glory of Jesus Christ
20 Years long i was your Typical Worldy Man, i went to partys, took drugs, drank alcohol and had plenty of women, no sign of same sex lust whatsoever from my Childhood on to my Young Adult Life.
How i started having Sexual Lust Towards a man came slow and under a circumstance... i lost all my friends, lost the girl i loved, she is the Love of my Life, i just lost everything i had and stood there all alone drug addicted and depressed.
I met a Person while attending school, who treated me nice, for the very first time again i felt like i was being liked by someone again, UNFORTUNATLY...i crossed the line without noticing it and suddenly that line between friendship with the same sex and people who you arent married with just didnt exist anymore. So my mind just started to think and wonder things i dont want to talk about here.
For years i said to myself "This cant be real, how the heck can i have passion for a man now, wenn for years i was straight"...i cried so many nights, my heart broke and still is breaking each and every day of my life. That time though i believed in Jesus and tried to Practice my Faith, also at that time i started talking to Jesus in prayers or in the mind, so one day i just admited it, i said "Ok Jesus you are right, i have Passion for other Men, i dont know what to do but i know your Strenght that you can keep my passion under control". So from that time on i knew i was a Passive Gay Christian who didnt practice Homosexuallity, but it still hurts me everyday to have those passions for men, wich is one of the reasons i dont attend church.
I never practiced my Passion, and you can litterly compare that lust with any kind of Temptation known to man.
On my part, i knew how it was to have passion only for a woman, so i knew with Jesus Christ it can be possible to keep my Passion and love for a woman throughout my life and Jesus Christ proofed himself worthy.
I also met a women once, who had the same Passion and we talked and we were amazed that we had the same testimony.
What i can say is that someone who "Turned" Homosexual after knowing that there was a time wenn they only loved the opposite sex might have it easier to believe that they can regain the same passion through Jesus Christ "One must Decress the other Increase" by Faith. While the other person who grew up having these Passions will have a harder time Believing they will ever get into a state were they will have passion for the opposite Sex, thats were greater Faith comes in.
Now if anyone here in there mind thought "It is impossible for a Homosexual to truely change", i tell those people please dont be a preacher or you dont know the power of Jesus, although you confess it.
It depends on the Person if he/she wants to change, now telling a Homosexuall who grew up with that passion to change is, how wierd it might sound, telling a Straight person to change and suddenly start loving the same sex....O_O. But thats the truth. Offcourse only a Christian or someone who Believes in Jesus Christ is that Healing given, to the rest of the world, well they have Hypnozis, Medicine ect....
I would Pray ALOTE for that person, that the Holy Spirit will Convict him, unless he feels convicted he will not be willing to change or believe there is anything wrong with him. He/She will go through a tough time, maybe even with Depression, thats were YOU as a friend really need to give them Hope and Faith and Comfort then with the Scriptures, wenn the time of there Breaking Comes,
Ask yourself this, do you believe there are Passive Gay Christians?...if yes...then you have to understand that they are going through really tough times and fight each and everyday by the Spirit to Kill the Lust of the Flesh and it Hurts them everday and everytime that lust takes over even for a moment.
If you know a Passive Gay Christian, treat them normal lol, Jesus Christ has done all of the things "Conviction-Hope-Strenght-Healing..ect", we would of failed to to, because we would of just kicked them out of the Church.
If you know a Active Gay Christian who doesnt want to change, then Pray to Jesus Christ that he will Discomfort him and Convict him and Break him, so he will seek Jesus Christ for Salvation and Regeneration"
If you ever meet a "Person" Christian or Not who believes in Jesus Christ, you see that he feels Convicted and wants to Change, Teach them about how to Abide in Christ Jesus, teach them about Branch and the Vine "WHO ARE YOU TO JUDGE WHO JESUS WILL ACCEPT AND WHO NOT". Teach them about Satan and his Lies, and his Condemnation. Most important be there for them as you would be for any other Person.
