I am sick of Posers!!!!

People claiming there this and that... for example christian posers! people who said that there a christian on miniute and curse the next?? i meen look in the mirror please!! and when people look at the bible they just see a really long book.. I look at this amazing book and think of my savior, as this will be my key to heaven! my suggestion to posers is that you read thiis really long book and study it dont just walk the walk, without praying to my savior jesus! make all your other loves for people look like hate!! look like hate because your worshiping the lord so much!

Well I dont believe i am a poser but i am a new Christian so although i watch my mouth more often curses do still slip out because im so us to say them i have gotten the hang of it now but when i first started it was a real problem

i hate when people juge you just because were young (no affence) it just bugges me cuz they've done that 2 me:rolleyes:

wow, you ppl are being a little to harsh on the bro. i believe he made a good point. posers are really really annoying. they think they are so high in the popularity chain because they tell everyone lies about themselfs. one day, ooooooh one day, reality will soon smack them in the face! oh and ppl, arent teens young adults? i dont think we are considered as children. oh and i have met waaaaay more young ppl with better education in these types of situations. i am not saying all teens are mature and smart, but believe me this guy is really mature and well educated with these types of things. take it easy on us teens, just because we are young doesnt mean we are stupid. God bless you all. :)

Sometimes these "posers" are going through some tough struggles.

Some people are also young christians and are trying to shed their old selves and become the new creation God wants them too, it doesn't happen over night.

Sometimes these "posers" are coming from backgrounds where they haven't been taught how to show/act in an appropriate manner. Some don't even experience love in their own home, how can they show love when they haven't received it. What if they put on a mask covering who they really are because they feel that their real self isn't good enough?
When these people turn to christ all their old ways don't just disappear, becoming the new creation in christ is a gradual process.

Speaking about "posers" in this way isolates them into a box where you'll continue to judge them and they'll continue feeling insecure about themselves.

We are supposed to support each other in christ, yes there are hypocrites but that is between them and God. No one NO ONE is perfect.

2 Timothy 2: 24-25 "And the servants of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,
25: In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves...."

More supporting and less judging must be done. Everyone has faults.

Remember some people don't understand the full concept of being a follower of christ. In mark/matthew/luke, Jesus talks about people hearing but not hearing. Just pray that they will understand the concept of being God's child and encourage them. Don't sit there and judge. That's what turns people off from christianity, when people have that attitude towards them.
It makes us Christians looks arrogant! Be willing to reach down and understand why these people are so called "posers", help them out and encourage them.

Find out where they're coming from.

Pray for them that God will be revealed to them.

Hope they will overcome their insecurities and display a loving attitude towards them.

Let man examine himself....

i understand what your saying but, the bible tells us not to curse.. yet the posers curse.. i am not completly judging i mean i am not judging by there looks style or the people they hang out with, its like if you see something off a shelf fall are you judging that item falling? or is it a fact? well when they curse its like the item falling a known fact that is wrong to do.

i know what ypu are saying and i agree. they are not like that for no reason, i believe that the choices a person makes like homosexuality, poser, etc is caused by a series of events that led them to make that decision. but remember, posers arent just simply masking themselfs because they think they are not good enough. mabye when they werent posers and told the honest truth, ppl such as there peers or friends found it boring or not interesting. they dont cover themselfs up with a mask, they just try to make there lives seem more interesting. its like a girl putting on makeup. they dont put it on as a mask, they put it on to make there physical appearence more interesting and wanted by the ppl. same thing with posers, they tell lies about themselfs not to cover up there lives completely, but to just pucker it up to make it seem more interesting or as teens at my school call it, "cool". i dont want to start arguments, just remember this is my oppinion. ya know what to do with posers?

tell them to pose for a photo

but set your camera to video camera.

then record them posing for like 15 seconds - looks heaps funny.

then put it on youtube.

I'm wondering why cursing is such a big issue to you? Not saying it's a minor thing, I just think it's weird to burst out with something like this because it makes you look a little bit like a hypocrite. You're never talking behind someone's back or telling a lie? or thought bad thoughts about your parents? be honest! that's just as bad.. Christians can't just stop sinning completely because they're christians.
