you know, i didnt read through the other replies, but obviously Jesus layed something on your heart! maybe not now, Maybe He is preparing you for something! I think its great, just keep on working and talking with Jesus! Not alot of people have the courage to do something like that... but you are on the right path.

I KNOW you dont want to force anything on people, Jesus will show you the way to go!

it depends on the culture of the community... u should consider their culture it's an important thing to remember...

For me... I usually introduce myself and the gospel I'm bringing with, if they're interested to listen so be it i will share to them the Gospel... If not I will ask them if i can extend some prayers for them before i'll leave... then i will go looking for another person... i will not waste my time for those who are not interested...

That is VERY different from the type of street evangelism I was referring to. It's one thing to stand on the street or on campus or something and hand out pamphlets and talk to people about God. It's another to yell at people and say "You're all whores and going to hell." That happens ALL the time on my college campus and I am so heart broken that pretty much ALL people who hear him are turned off from God.

ooo gotcha. well friend we do have a peace. and that peace is the soverignty of God. we do not decide who is saved or not. even if those people yell and scream and turn people off. if it is in HIS will then they will be saved. maybe not that day, but noone knows when he chooses. but then again, God is never late :) God Bless

One cool way you could do street ministry is to get involved with a soup kitchen or some other organisation that deals with street people. Then you get chances to get to know people and sharing Christ just comes naturally.
