ugly people!?

hello cc!
Its me again. I would like to get something off my chest. On anther web cam people called me ugly even before they spoke to me. It would be different if this was in a humorous tone understand that. They actually greeted me with "hey your the ugliest person in the world" and X me out before i could respond. I know I'm being personal and random but i just thought id share that with you guys to make you aware theres people like that in the world. I just wanna know what your thoughts are. God bless everyone.

That is most distressing. There will always be those in this world who are insensitive and hurt people without even thinking about it. My thoughts are that we are to pray for such people that God would open their eyes so as to see what true beauty really is.

As I said on a different thread just the other day: No such thing as an ugly child of God, He made you and He isn't in the habit of making mistakes.

I agree with MadParrot, Jesus doesn't think you're ugly, and He's got more clout than they do. Sorry you have to deal with this kind of superficial stupidity brother, but at least you can KNOW you're loved and all we can do is pray that those poor souls find the love you've already got.

I would guess it came from a place of insecurity. "For the same measure you use it will be used against you". I believe this passage of scripture to be a here and now principle.

So sorry to hear this.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder my man.
Some of the "ugliest" people I know, are what the world labels "pretty".
Some of the "prettiest" people I know, are what the world labels "ugly".

I've learned that it doesn't matter what the world thinks.
The Lord judges differently anyway.
He searches the hearts and minds of His children.....not our hairstyles and facial features.

It was simply an opinion. Responding would likely have been met with further insult, these types of incidents are sometimes done to elicit a prescribed response.

Your value as a human being is neither based on nor decided by the opinions of others. I recommend dismissing the opinion and praying for that individual.

Just kinda wondering if it was on that one video chatting site. I'd rather not say the name but you can go there and randomly start talking to anyone who comes up on the screen. If it were on that website..I wouldn't feel all that bad considering people go there to be vulgar on purpose. Whether it be giving insults, being inappropriate on camera, so on so forth.


Who defines what looking ugly is like? So that person's opinion is what everyone else could ever think? Nah.. And I know even if its just one person sometimes their insults alone hurt. Even if they thought it you have to think .. no one is going to be completely happy. But you can still treat people kindly or be happy just enough to not be a bully. Someone who is not okay or feeling down more than likely could start bullying because they are not happy - the case with this person.


I've been called names from stupid all the way up the name calling scale to names I was taught not to say. XD Even ugly. This girl would follow me and say "hey ugly" like she was trying to get my attention. You just need to learn and love yourself. As corny and lame as that may sound its healthy to love yourself and become confident in yourself. There were things (honest to God) that I HATED about my face or my body. Slowly I've found that these things are my favourite features and I've come to like them. My confidence will go up if I allow God to show me why I should love myself. Not what people's comments are.

Uhm, I'd rather say that these words belonged to a demon, and the person who served as demonic mouthpiece unfortunately isnt even aware of what they have channeled. Demons do not like that man was made in the image of God. And they are so evil that what they have to say is worthless. They hate man because they hated God first.

screw the person who was mean to you! You are not ugly. wait let me finish before you say "you don't know me in real life." Ok thats true i don't knw you, but I know you are not ugly. The person who was mean to you, there ugly because they said hurtful speech.

People in the world are like that. From personal experience is to not care what someone thinks. Does it truly matter what someone thinks of your personal appearance? i'd say no it does not.

well like if your with your friends and there kidding around with you. They could say something like "oh who let this ugly guy in" and they tell you there just joking. all though tencaly they say "gay" but the same concept applies.

They were just saying that for the sake of saying it, most likely. I wouldn't give any weight to it whatsoever. Some people on cam sites say absurdly rude things for entertainment because they don't have to deal with the consequences which would come with saying them in real life (without a window to close). Let children be children and cowards be cowards.

My thoughts on this is to remind you that the only thing that's ugly is negativity. Also, I will let you know right now if a guy is being open with judging your looks under his first impression as you mentioned, they don't want to get to know you... The hard truth is that these kind of sassy witty guys just want to use you for their own personal pleasures... Words hurt, especially when they are far from the truth because you seem like a sweet heart, but good respectable quality is what you want to look for so take it as a blessing from God that you didn't get mixed up with them. For instance, if they played you or led you on with poor intentions, it could have led to more unnecessary hell for you on your end.

Now there's over 7 billion people living on Earth and over 306 million in the United States alone. Not everyone is going to be all sunshine and skittles, you have a lot of stinky cheeses. The best that anyone can be is themselves the way that God made you. God has someone for everyone, we just have to be patient, accomplish his tasks, be the best we could be, embrace our God given talents, and trust in him every step we go. I say enjoy the single life, enjoy the dating scene, embrace the trial and errors if or when relationships work or don't work, and learn what makes us most happy. More importantly be strong and of good courage, not afraid or dismayed by hate, for the lord our god is with us wherever we go! Amen!
