CHOSEN BY GOD: For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight.~ Eph 1:4
ADOPTED BY GOD: he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will ~ Eph 1:5
A CHILD OF GOD: See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.
~ 1 John 3:1
FORGIVEN: If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. ~1 John 1:9
RECONCILED TO GOD: For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life! ~Romans 5:10
BLAMELESS: Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior. But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation—
~ Col 1:21-22
SEALED: And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory. ~ Eph 1:13
CALLED: And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. ~ Romans 8:28-30

~ Romans 5:1
SANCTIFIED: And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. ~ 1 Corinthians 6:11

CLEANSED: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. ~1 John 1:7
JOINT HEIRS WITH CHRIST: The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory. ~ Romans 8:16-17

I had read so much of this before. In thinking about what an UNBELIEVER might get out it, the definition of REDEEMED hit me most. If that word means that ownership of us was RECOVERED, that means we were owned by someone else, doesn't it? This tells me that we are either owned by God or by satan. Which are you?
