For Discussion:

Briefly, here's how I read the passages of Genesis 1:1~5 based onmy biblical understanding ....

Genesis 1:1 is just a preface -The Story of the "Beginning" of ourPhysical World.
Genesis 1:2 narrates us the condition of the deep (dark - void) before theworld was.
Genesis 1:3 documents us the bringing forth of the Light before anything ismade that was made; before the world was.
Genesis 1:4 the division / separation of Light from darkness - the first workof old.
Genesis 1:5 The evening & the morning, the first day.

During the time Jesus was praying at the Garden of Gethsemane, He spoke the following:

And now, O Father, glorify thou Me with Thine Own Self with the Glory which Ihad with Thee BEFORE the world was."
John 17:5

Glory is Brightness, a Physical trait. Jesus is speaking of His Physical Brightness which He shared with the Father, Before the world was. Before the world was can only be the 1st Day, since the first World was made on the 2nd Day.
Gen 1:6-8.

This is the physical manifestation which shows that Son came forth (begotten by the Father) the first time into this physical world from the invisible realm of his Father - when God commanded and said, Let there be Light
Gen.1:3. Scripture also documents us that ... there could not have been anything Made (formed) that was Made (fashioned) before the Son - the True Light that shinneth in heaven... in the beginning (Genesis 1:3& John 1:9).... as He will also be the light of heaven in the end (Rev. 21:23)

If one believes that In the beginning God created our Heaven BEFORE the 1st Day, then the Words of Jesus would seem to be in error. However, if onebelieves that the 1st Firmament or Heaven was formed on the 2nd Day, then it would agree with Jesus, and would show that Jesus came into the World Before the 1st Heaven was formed.

Based on my Biblical understanding.......

The first chapter of the Bible tells the complete History of how God created the Perfect Heaven. God wrote our History, before the events are complete. At the end of the present 6th Day, God's Perfect Heaven will be Finished or brought to Perfection. Then, the prophecy of Gen.2:3 will befulfilled.... and only then God will Rest -- that is, He will Cease toCreate from
ALL his works which he created and made.

Genesis 2:3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that init he had rested from
ALL his work which God created and made.

Most Christians believe that the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit are still working today. In fact, Jesus is still preparing a place for us to live in after this world is burned (Rev.21). Since all we have is "today",those who will live forever, must be born again while it is still called,Today. Today is the only Day of Salvation. Therefore, today, we still remain onthe 6th creative day of God.

The Bible was written for the past, present, and future (i.e. Book of Revelation). It is relevant for today, and tomorrow. Written by the Supreme Intelligence, it's just too hard for other unbelievers to comprehend. The only way to have a better understanding is to pray for more wisdom.

Gen 1:29 says that mankind will eat of every tree. Revelation 22 shows that we will Not eat of the tree of Life until we get to Heaven. Also, Gen 1:30 shows that EVERY animal will become Vegetarian. This prophecy will Not be fulfilled until Jesus returns to this Planet. Isaiah 11:7

The prophecy of the end of the 6th Day is Future. We will Not have dominion over every living thing, until then.

Isaiah 46
9 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, v10
declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

Here's how to reconcile the Story of the Beginning.... using only the Scriptures as my witnesses in chronological order of events..... How the Son of God was brought forth into this physical world of ours BEFORE the world was.... from the invisible realm of his Father.

Note: Insertions are mine for clarity of presentation.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God (Father), and the WORD was God (Son). John 1:1

The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.Proverbs 8:22

And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. Genesis 1:2

The same was in the beginning with God. John 1:2

I (the Son) was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was. Proverbs 8:23

And God said, LET THERE BE LIGHT: and there was light. Genesis 1:3

All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made. John 1:3

When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water. Proverbs 8:24

And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. Genesis 1:4

In him was life; and the life was the light of men. John 1:4

Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth:proverbs 8:25

And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. Genesis 1:5

Jesus is God and was with the Father before the beginning of the Physical World. When God said, Let there be Light, Jesus or Jehovah, the Son, came forth from the invisible Spirit of Love into the Physical World and became the Only God ever Physically formed or that ever will be Physically formed for us to see and witness.

He was Not Created, since He was already God with the Father... from the beginning;..... from everlasting. Jesus provided the Light in the beginning of Genesis (ALPHA), just as He will also be the Light of New Heaven (Rev, 21) in the end (OMEGA), which has No need for the Sun nor Moon to shine in it.

Without the Son, was Not anything made which was made, because..... Everything that is Physical was made by the Physical Hands of the Only God, the Only Image, the Only Begotten, of the Invisible Spirit of God, the Father. When we get to Heaven, we will truly understand that the Son is the only One God physically formed for us to see and witness.... for In Him dwelleth ALL of the fulnessof the Godhead, Bodily (physically).

Hebrews1:4-10 Being made so much better than the angels,as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. v5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? AND AGAIN, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be tome a Son?

v6
AND AGAIN, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, hesaith, And let all the angels of God worship him. v7 And of the angels hesaith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire. v8 Butunto the Son [he saith], Thy throne, O God, [is] for ever and ever: a sceptreof righteousness [is] the sceptre of thy kingdom.

Why do you suppose the words
AND AGAIN (Heb. 1:5 & 6) are repeatedly described in the above cited texts …. when the Almighty God Father sent forth his only begotten Son into this world? Is it because , the Son was brought forth into this world in the beginning.... before the world was..... even before his birth from Mary’ womb?

Let’s continue reading….

v10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:

v9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity;
therefore God, [even] thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

My Conclusion: Jesus is Jehovah himself, the Son of the invisible God, of whom no man hath seen at anytime nor his name have been revealed to anyone at this time.

No man has seen the Almighty God Father...the Invisible Spirit of Love, at any time........ but Shadrack, Meshesh, andAbednigo, who were with the LORD God in the fiery furnace, will tell you they saw our Lord (Jehovah), for He is the Only Begotten Son and the Express Image of the Invisible Spirit of God, bodily (physically).

In fact, even king Nebuchadnezzar, himself, who ordered the execution of the three men…. Shadrack, Meshesh, and Abednigo …. was astonished when he saw four men..... and that the forth man was the likeness of the Son of God….

Look and read......

Daniel 3:23 - And these three men, Shadrach Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

v24 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, [and]spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king.

v25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt;
and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

Of course, the begging question now becomes….. How king Nebuchadnezzar could have known the physical existense or thelikeness of the Son of God in the Old Testament!?…. while most of our Christian brethren, “even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart”.

"Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me." John 5:39

The implication that Adam died Spiritually when he committed his first sin, would mean that God - the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit were Wrong, when they made him a spiritual being to begin with... only to “FALL” unto the hand of theold serpent. It seems to suggest that God had no foreknowledge of this event when they first created Adam in their image and likeness in the beginning.... but such is not the case, I believe.

Based on my Biblical understanding... you can always correct me, of course.

Adam was physically made on the 3rd Day becoming a natural living soul ... then, named the beasts of the Field and Birds, formed from the dust of the ground by Jesus at the beginning of the 6thDay.

In the day Adam was Created in image and likeness of God (6th day)... Adam & Eve have already committed their first sin (original sin). This creation process or event took place long after Cain had already killed Abel; and only during Seth' generation after men began calling upon the name of the Lord (repent), ref. Gen.4:26.

Adam & Eve were the first couple to be forgiven of their sins and redeemed by the Lord... by being born again spiritually in the image and likeness of God.

Most definitely, Cain who was a murderer and a liar from the beginning could not have been an image or likeness of God. He was just a natural living soul without a holy spirit given.... that is of God.

1 Corinthians 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. v46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and
afterward that which is spiritual.

Here's how to reconcile the accounts of Adam in the day he was physically formed by Jesus on the 3rd day (Gen. 2:7) ...before..... he was created (spiritually) in the image on likeness of God on the 6th day.

Note: Insertions are mine for clarity of presentation.... My words are in black.

Gen 2:4 These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were CREATEDin the day that the LORD God MADE the earthand the heavens,

The 1st Firmament called Heaven, was made on the 2nd Day. Gen 1:6-8 This verse (Gen.2:4) is speaking of heavenS being made in the SAME day as the Earth. Our Earth was made on the 3rd Day. Gen 1:9 The ONLY Day the Earth and the other Heavens could have been made was the 3rd Day.

Gen 2:5And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and [there was] not a man to till the ground.

This verse continues to identify the 3rd Day. The plants and herbs were made onthe 3rd Day. Gen 1:11-12 Why is it so important for the 3rd Day to be identified. Read the next verses.

Gen 2:6 But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole faceof the ground. v7 And the LORD God formed man [of] the dust of theground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became aliving soul.

As you should clearly see, Adam was physically FORMED on the 3rd Day... justBefore the plants, herbs, and right after the mist that watered the whole face of the ground.... becoming natural living soul.

Once you understand this, you will see that mankind has preeminence or first place among all other living creatures. It is also in agreement with the events of the 6th Day when the LORD made the animals from the dust and brought them toAdam to name them. Notice that Adam was ALONE at the beginning of the 6th Day.Gen 2:18

1 CORINTHIANS 15:45 And so it is written,
The first man Adamwas made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit v46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.

Below is the Scripture that documents us THE DAY Adam and his generations were created in the image and likeness of God.

Genesis 5:1 This is the book of the generations of Adam.
IN THE DAY that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him; v2 Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created. v3 And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, and after his image; and called his name Seth:

Notice the chronological order of the Creation process of Adam & his generations.... in the image and likeness of God (Gen. 5:1-3) took place long after Cain had already killed Abel (Genesis 4:8) and only after men started calling upon the name of the Lord (Gen. 4:26), correct? It also support and harmonize as summarized in Gen. 1:26-27.

As we all know, to be created in the image and likeness of God - who is a Spirit - one must call upon the name of the Lord and repent .... and be born again spiritually in Christ - the Express Image and Likeness of God.

1 CORINTHIANS 15:45 And so it is written,
The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit v46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.

Note: Based on My Own Theory…. A Different Biblical Perspective…..

Genesis 1:21 tells us that every living creature that moveth was created from the water on Day 5. This included the bringing forth from the water of what our scientist described as prehistoric mankind... but sons of God by the Scripture (Gen. 6).

Genesis 2 tells us of Creatures made from the dust. Some people see this as a contradiction, and falsely assume that God made a boo boo.

They are ignorant of the fact that God (Elohim) originally created every Living Creature that moved, from the water, on Day 5. The account of the formation ofthe beasts of the field and fowl of the air, from the Dust, on the 6th Day, is when the Son of God squeezed, as a potter would mould clay, and formed living creatures from the dust of the ground.

The creatures made from the dust were identical to those brought forth from the water, and could produce offspring when forming a union together, ref. (Gen.6).

Of course the first Living Being made from the dust was man. Man was physically made on the 3rd Day before the plants and herbs... right after the mist that watered the whole face of the ground.
Gen 2:4-7 This gives Adam Preeminence or First Place among all other Living Creatures.

Like other creatures, man also married and produced children with Prehistoric Beings brought forth from the water. That's where Cain's wife came from, and that is where Noah's grandsons married, on this “Planet of Apes” of ours (scientist term). Incest was never a part of God’s multiplication process of mankind.

The fact is, we have the DNA of the sons of God (Prehistoric Mankind) and wealso have the Human Intelligence that can ONLY be inherited from Adam, thefirst Human. Yes, we all descended with modifications from a common ancestor, and his name is Adam.

The Almighty God Father created every living creature that moveth, from the water thru the power of his logos, on the 5th Day…… and the Son produced their Kinds with his own hands…. from the dust of the ground, on the 6th Day. Today, "scientists" can't tell us the difference between those creatures created from the water, and those made from the dust. Only Jesus can tell us of their/his Kinds, which are identical with the Creatures created from the water on the 5th Day.

Genesis 6tells us of micro-evolution or descent with modification. It shows that the combination of the sons of God (prehistoric mankind) and Adam's daughters produced mighty men of old …. men of renown. Micro-Evolution or descent with Modification happens every time a baby is born.

Genesis 6:1 And it came to pass
,WHEN MEN BEGAN TO MULTIPLY ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH, and daughters were born unto them, v2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they [were] fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

v4 There were GIANTS in the earth in those days; AND ALSO AFTER THAT, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare [children] to them, the same [became] mighty men which [were] of old, men of renown.

The theory from a different Biblical perspective continues:

All of the sons of God, on the first world drowned, but the other sons of God,who were here, also Created, from the water, on the 5th Day,
Gen 1:21, have been inhabiting this Planet for Millions of years. They are called Prehistoric, by our scientists, but sons of God, by God.

AND ALSO AFTER THATwas a prophecy…. Justas it happened on the first world, the descendant daughters of the sons of God,married the grandsons of Noah, and produced offspring….. and inherited the Human Intelligence of Adam. They also became mighty men of old.

Agriculture and city building were the first signs of Human Intelligence, onthis Planet. History records that Human Civilization began, on this Earth, with Noah's great grandsons some 10K years ago.

If Noah had not been RAPTURED and brought to our planet after their world was destroyed by the universal flood, we would still be innocent Ape.....because, the theory of Macro-Evolution does NOT produce Humans. Human Intelligence must be inherited from another Human..... since we are all confine to our own kinds, based on the Scripture.

Here' a modern example of today of Micro-Evolution or Descent with modication within it's kind...

Cat's Family: A Lion and a Tiger forming a Union... prodocing a GIANT offspring called Liger....

See images.... link... Liger - The World's Biggest Cats

It's amazing how Scripture written 3K years ago could have known about Micro-Evolution within its kind can produce GIANT offspring.

Based on my Biblical understanding.....There were numerous worlds made during the Creation process in Genesis, literally speaking.

The 1st Heaven or Universe was made on the 2nd Day.
Gen 1:6-8 It was formed in the midst or middle of the Water, and Water was above and below it (world of Adam thru Noah). It was later destroyed, totally and completely, by that same Water, when the "windows of heaven were opened. Gen. 7:11.

Our present Heaven or Universe was made on the 3rd Day.
Gen 2:4-5. However, our universe is not surrounded by water this time but instead star dust from the Big Bang. The Big Bang happened on the 3rd Day, the same Day Jesus made our Heaven or Kosmos, and also the 3rd Heaven. ll Corinthians 12:2 tells us of the Apostle Paul being taken to the 3rd Heaven.

To summarize, the first Heaven or universe was totally destroyed in the Flood. llPeter 3:5-7 ... gone forever….. Our present Heaven or Universe will be Burned. ll Peter 3:7… The 3rd Heaven is where Jesus has gone to prepare a place for us. It is beyond our World.

Mankind from this planet changed from Prehistoric to Human just AFTER Noah arrived / raptured to our world. Civilization was born just South of the Mountains of Ararat, exactly as God told us.

The reason there is No evidence of Human Civilization before Mesopotamia, is that Humanity was inherited from Noah' family, a direct descendant of the first Human, Adam. Noah's grandsons married the descendants of the sons of God (Prehistoric Mankind) and produced those with the intelligence necessary to WRITE their own History.

This event took place some 10,000 + - years ago, and History agrees with Scripture. Evolutionism is odd man out, and NO Evol has been able to show us ANY evidence of an Earlier Human Civilization, than that which is listed inScripture.

Our limited life on this planet isbut a small measure of our Eternal life in Heaven. God "Creates" only 3 times in Genesis 1.

The first time He "creates" is when He speaks of the heaven and theearth..... the air, dust, and water are formed. Air, dust, and water werecreated in the beginning, and will be in Heaven, eternally. Everything God"creates" is for Eternity.

The 2nd time God "creates" in Gen 1, is when EVERY living creature that moveth, was created and brought forth from the water, abundantly, on the5th Day.
Genesis 1:21. Does this meanthat "every living creature that moveth" is created Eternally?

The 3rd and final time God "creates" in Gen 1 is when mankind is Created in God's Image, or in Christ, for this is man's Spiritual Creation.Man's Spiritual Creation is for Eternity. We will live forever with Jesus, inHeaven.

Since God is the SAME, yesterday, today, and forever, when God"creates", it is an Eternal Creation. God doesn't make mistakes.God's Perfect World is Eternal, His innocent creatures from the water are Eternal, and regenerated mankind is Eternal.
