I love the fact that this lady said she had two prayers and that both were answered. Just a reminder of how important it is for us to ask God in our time of need.

I challenge everyone today to think about the many things that maybe they just have not considered to pray about. Stop waiting and let God deal with those things for you. Just ask Him.

Why I waited til the hottest part of the day to decide to do some yard work, I dunno. Seemed like a good idea at the time.

It's kinda weird to me where my motivation comes from. I was totally set AGAINST doing anything useful today, and so I completely wasted the morning. Well, no, I didn't- I played with my kids. Absolutely not a waste of time. I just wasn't doing housework that I've been putting off.

At any rate, I suddenly got a burst of energy, and while I was going about collecting laundry, I thought: Man, why do I always procrastinate like there's no tomorrow?

...um...

I met the two cats that will be joining our family next week. Jazz is all black and Funk is grey and white. Funk also has a Hitler mustache. My son said he looked mean. He's actually very pretty.

Going to Wednesday night bible study, studying Acts. What a day today, all I did was sit and pet my dog and post some things and harass descypled, and, a few others. Lazy, lazy, lazy. Life is good :D

I like a comic strip of Garfield. The big orange cat is in his cat nap box and saying to himself, dreamily: "Eat and sleep. Eat and sleep. Eat and sleep. I wonder if that's all there is to life. I hope so." :D

'Course, God provides, wouldnt' be nice to be a cat though, or, my dog, she can sleep for 15 hours straight or just do nothing , anyway, not even go potty but she also can just as easy go be a crazy runner and such, quite the girl of mine. God gave me a great friend. Garfield and Bolt all in one :D

I think I've pretty much decided that if I ever come into a significant amount of money I am going to start a dog rescue.
This has been on my heart for a long time now. I don't know how or if it will ever happen...maybe I will get to work closely with one at some point...I dunno.
I do know that being single now this late in life frees me up to do a lot of things I could have never done when married.
There are definitely pros to being alone!

Getting peppermint oil around your eye isn't necessarily terrible..but it does make it hard to keep your eye open. >.<

Back pain might just be the most obnoxious thing ever. Hopefully some stretching and some ibuprofen will fix me up enough to do more of whatever it was that messed me up in the first place :/

Dr. Green says, when his back went out way back when, when he was around age 23, he went to a chiropractor, he was also a naturalist, I LOVED that guy, the above post by crismizzz made me think back to him. I went and saw him only 5-6 times in a 6 month span and my BACK was better, now, it was a little costly, I think it was around $60 a half-hour visit back in 1993, but WELL worth it :)
Then, I got in a car accident in 1995 and, again, I went and saw him and, again, he tweaked some things, even helped me understand an ache in my stomach which I THOUGHT was an ulcer but was just tooooo much peppermint oil in my stomach. Just kiddin ;) I had tooo much roughage in there, I was eating too many green things, and, oh, sweets, too. I had to cut that stuff down to a moderate amount and it would be better he said and he was right, the pain in my belly LEFT :)

My conscious mind streams to help people, hope that's okay with msarwenbaggins, I think it's what Jesus would do, and, for ANYONE taking ibuprofen make sure you TAKE a lot of water with every dosage because you don't want that stuff staying in your kidneys and liver, flush it on through . OK, I'm done already, I'm going to just keep listening to the raindrops splattering on my head as I woke up to this morning. Makes me sooo lazy..... Sigh, God is good, He knows when we just need to chill, I mean, not chill, I mean, if I go out and get wet I am chilled , or, wait, I mean, oh, bother, I am such a bear of beary widdle brain, I don't rightly thinks I know even what I mean :D

I went and saw a chiropractor for a couple months after a car crash where I was hanging from the seat belt...I liked going, except when they adjusted my neck. THAT was horrible, I always felt like the guy was about to do that neck-snapping move to kill me like you see in movies.

Pitter, pitter, pitter, patter. Raindrops keep falling on my head, it's the northwest, I've lived here all my life, I really should be over it by now, you'd think. I like the saying I saw a shirt once. "We don't tan in Washington. We rust." :D

LOL, LIGHTupthesky, I thought you were telling littleChristone that she should be glad she didn't get 'peppermint butter' around her eye. I was like, thinking, what is that and, yeah, that sounds more concentrated and goopy than 'oil,' so yeah, but, to missarwenbaggins I now go, that milady was NOT a response to any reply I was just streaming my conscious :D
