What does scripture have to with it?? An if i get banned for speakin out than that would be just fine i dont mind gettin persucuted for standin up for whats right... an jesuschica yes we should trust them but that dosent mean we should do nothing when we clearly see something wrong has been done... an sure they been doing it a while an they can make a guess about it but its still just a guess an people shouldnt be banned on guess... i mean still no disrespect inlike him i think he a good person an i understand his postition.. but that dosent make it right an ita just not in me to not speak out against wrong doings.
I am now officially "persecuting" matt7777777 "for standing up for whats right" (in his words) by banning him "for speaking out". This ban is not from 1still_waters, it's from me. It's for him wasting our time with his posts here in the forum disputing someone else's ban and also for posting similar stuff in my public profile visitor messages. Now he can go on a crusade against Christian Chat claiming that he was banned for "speaking out against wrongdoings" as he says here. This ban is from RoboOp so I hope he/whoever will give stillwaters a break.

As with all bans, this ban can be appealed (by the banned person) using our contact form, which is linked from the bottom of every page of our site. And the same with the ban that this person was disputing.

I would just let it go. I have had to. I actually like giving input here and it is sad to walk in fear that you might have your account deleted for saying something or daring to question. So, everyone is suppressed and has to tow the line.
I hope that was okay?

My sincere thanks to the mods and all who volunteer their time to make this such a wonderful site. I take all posts at face value, and sad to say, I wouldn't know trouble seekers if I saw them. The time you serve God with is a blessing to us all.

Again you need to step outside of yourself.
Just do it for a few minutes here.
The only thing on your mind appears to be something like.."I want to give input..I want to be able to speak out about decisions made."

But please..again..step outside of yourself.

Admins/mods volunteer, with limited time as it is.
Ok.
Got it?
We make tons of decisions.

Now if everyone chirped their opinion on every ban or decision, and then we had to defend/address/etc it, can you imagine the amount of labor that would go into that? Because these "expressions of opinions/chirpings" tend to create drama. Drama we get to deal with.

We simply don't have the ability to address or defend or whatever every time one of the many users wants to chirp about or speak up about, or whatever every perceived wrong they see from an admin/mod decision.

Please understand this.

Now some may say.."but mods need to step outside of themselves too..."

To which I'd say......
We already do.

We give/serve/volunteer multiple hours a week so folks have a forum/chat to be in.

Can you get your mind around the fact that we simply don't have the time to address everyone who may "speak up" about every decision we make? Any empathy for that whatsoever? Any?

I invest 20+ hours a week without pay.
I take people's reports if someone is harassing/bothering/them.
I spend time investigating all that.
Much effort is spent deciding in he said she said types of situations.
Free of charge I make stressful/tough decisions knowing that quite a few of them will result in flack from a considerable amount of people.
I try to help people with their problems.
I put myself out there.

Every micro-decision/decision I make may not be spot on perfect.....but given all of the realities involved..I think I've earned at least some consideration for "respect".

.But I don't demand it. I just ask that folks not give me flack.

That's all. No need to flatter and all that. No need to even give an atta boy. I just want the benefit of the doubt, and maybe not the riot act and maybe not flack if I happen to make a less than perfect decision in the eyes of those I'm trying my dog gonedest to serve.
l Still waters Thanks for your volunteer work I think (although i don't know you) your doing a fairly good job. just thought I would mention it in the opportunity. I didn't know you were a mod. The guys statement made me think of some things though, I read something today about " God, three in one or one in three?Sometime I think we just kinda think that the father was up there and Jesus on the cross and that the father was not at any basic risk or life was not at risk. But I think it more than that , I think the Father truly had his existence at stake. I feel he had faith and hope as do we ,in Jesus ,kind of like Abraham. I don't think the father would ask something of us that he himself would not lay on the line ,like life and death and not just of someone else s but his own I think the father really did lay every thing , counting the cost and demonstrating pure unfeigned faith and love as an example to all those that would believe by his and Jesus example god bless , just running my mouth again.

he could forgive us without die, why should he die
Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

His rules, sin requires death. Christ died in our place to pay the payment.

How can a god die? How is the universe going on then??????? Help plz
Christ died but the Father was still on His throne ruling the universe and keeping it going...

Joh 10:17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
Joh 10:18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.
