Do you ever wonder if you're eating genetically modified food material? Its getting to the point where I may not eat meat unless I humanely put the cow down myself

Add in whatever ending you want to this sentence!

Do you ever feel...that single people at church are sometimes treated like they are outcasts?

I am pretty sure I am the only single person at my church.. I used to hang out with a few younger couples that would all go to lunch together, but now they sorta keep away from me. (It's NOT because I stink. I make sure to put on a fresh coat of deodorant and everything! ;) ) It's extremely lonely on Sunday mornings. :(
I know that at my age I haven't exactly been part of the "unmarried adult" demographic for long, but I've never experienced this, and I am an active participant in two diametrically different congregations. To clarify, I use single in this context to refer to the unmarried, which includes people in dating relationships.

In the tiny, close-knit Filipino congregation, there are actually quite a few singles.. Partially because it is not a very pro-marriage culture, unfortunately. However, the atmosphere at this congregation is like a family, so the singles are not excluded at all. Everyone is someone's "uncle" or "big sister" or something.

Tell church where my family and I are actually members is much larger but we have a thriving young adult singles ministry. Though directed towards singles 18-35, we have people who are far outside that age range and some who are married. The singles often sit together during the service (I prefer to sit with my family, though) and despite the group's fairly large size, we really are all quite close.

i can't relate to singles feeling excluded but I think if I were in that situation, I would struggle. The posts here have made me realize that I should never take our singles ministry for granted. :/

Aw, Bridget :(. I know how you feel, I always sit by myself as well. I'll go to the "Coffee and Donut Fellowship Hour" and no one sits at my table! Guess they know a troublemaker when they see one... heh. :)

If I were by your neck of the woods, I would definitely sit by you, Bridget. We could share Bibles, crayons, favorite Scripture bookmarks, get matching WWJSB (Who Would Jesus Sit By) wristbands, and swap from our collection of favorite Christian Slogan Pencil Toppers.

Why, I'd even let you share your deodorant with me.

Err... Wait a minute... None of this is coming out right. I think my well-wishes are taking a wrong turn here... (And much faster than I intended!) :)

"Do You Ever Feel... Like Someone At Church Is Stalking You?" (Instead of "The Roommate", this would be the Christian version... "The Pew Mate.")
It would be. Case of Bridget left China but Korea never left Bridget.! But you can hang out with me anytime. I will swop you for my Big Sister if anyone would take her.

Nod, you will get back your strobe light only after I installed my new solar powered lava lamps (but since they'll be inside all day, I'm not sure how well they will work at night!!!). I hope I didn't waste my money!!!

Do you ever feel............. like you wasted money on solar-powered indoor lava lamps???

Many people buy the lie that you have to be married to start ministry, or to have a life, which is absurd, and a lie from the pit. Churches do do that, it really is crappy!

...do you ever feel ... like some 'christians' are as cold as a reptile; and those in your local yoga center seem so much friendlier?
