Absolutely. It should only be about the study, period. Let's face it though; when people attack for whatever reason, calling the other guy deceived, confused, part of a cult church, or heretical, that's an attack that has nothing to do with the argument, yet it throws off the whole study. I'm sure that's the reason for it.
Maybe they should have two forums for Bible? One for debating one where no debating is allowed only study.

My sister, my wifes aunt is a 7 dayer, I am a pentecostal. Most here are Baptist for some reason. The point I try my best to get across. Is the fact that Jesus paid it all and we can do nothing to add to it. Please never place your faith in what you are doing and place it in what God has done for you.

That is the message of the cross. Why it offends people is beyond me.

Baptist, reject the baptism of the Holy Spirit, what a misnomer . You must be baptised in water to be truly saved. They believe in prayer. but for the most part not healing ( though some do). I mean its not like mcdonalds where you know what they have. Some baptist speak in tongues others say that it is the devils work. When it comes to baptist your guess is as good as mine. Then there are methodist who say sprinkling is just as good as being baptized. You see were I am going with this. You could lean to seven day adventist whos say you must attend church on Saturday. Or you can go Episcopalian that have Gay preachers. Keep your son back they don't want your daughter. I could go on and on. Our you can find a pentecostal church that sings Selena Gomez saying make my heart go beep beep beep. Thats a catchy tune or how about America got talent. B double O t why. You can find that at any so called Church.

Church is where Jesus said That if I be lifted up. I will draw men unto me. Not worldly crap. This is what churches are doing today. trying to be like the world to win the world. We have no part in the world. We are strangers to it.

Revelation 13:17 (KJV)
And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

It is interesting to note that according to this verse people will not be permitted to buy or sell except they have the Mark of the Beast, OR the name of the beast, OR the number of his name. So, according to this then, to not buy or sell we need only have the name of the beast or merely have the number of his name without even having the mark of the beast.
No. I cannot agree with you on that. Bible does not strictly teach that. Go back to Revelation 13:16-17. In verse 16, it says that all will receive the mark. And verse 17 it associates the mark with the name of the beast and the number of his name.
The name of the beast is the character of the beast. I can't prove it to you, because i forgot how. But when beast exalts his power above God, his name or character is disobedient. And not only so, but in rev 14 you see 144 000 having GOD's name written on their foreheads. While the people will have the beast's name on their foreheads or hand! Again to know how the mark gets on forehead or hand, and why God's name ends up only on the forehead(although that's easy cuz those that worship God do it willingly, with their consent). Go to the link.
But be sure that all receive the mark. In rev 16:2, seven plagues fall on those that receive the mark. It's unreasonable to suppose that those that received his name, or his number do not have the plagues falling on them, when third angel warns on taking all three(mark, name, number). It's all associated together. You worship the beast when you obey his law above God's law, thus you made the beast your god! The law he'll enforce is sunday laws, and for that he's disobedient. Plus EGW herself mentioned that all take the mark.

I don't know if that was aimed at me. i don't reject the cross or what God has done for me. But the Bible does make it clear to keep the commandments. Salvation is by faith. To ignore is to say Jesus died on the cross in vain. Titus 3:4-6 is a good basis of belief that salvation is by faith. But i was just stressing the point in all these my posts and replies, that you should obey.

OK, my faith is not in myself. I know who I am and it frightens me sometimes. That out of the way, what does God expect of us?

You say you learned them but you violate them frequently. That makes no sense to me. Now look up at the topic again. What does it say? It says 'Mark of the beast is sunday laws'. That IS the topic. That IS what I'm speaking to. I keep repeating myself when speaking to you because you're not retaining information nor processing it correctly. And you do continue to violate the principles of logic repeatedly and in a very immature manner while making false assertions repeatedly. I understand them fine it's you who obviously don't even though you apparently think you do. But enough of your nonsense. Unless you have something to say about MARK OF THE BEAST IS SUNDAY LAWS which arose from Seventy Day Adventist heresy: you are off topic.

I took logic. I learned about logical fallacies. It's already been stated in here that there are those of us that are not 7th day adventists that keep a 7th day sabbath. Hence, the fact that seventh day adventists do this is not applicable to the debate. Even if they were the first to do this, it's not applicable to the debate. Regardless, I couldn't care less what your opinion is on how they interpret scriptures other than what is relevant to this debate. I also don't care how many supposed religious authorites believe whatever. I only care about what scriptures say.

Again, you accuse me of not being educated. That's all it's about with you. Tooting your credentials. You've proven to me that regardless of all your supposed education, you don't understand logical fallacies.

You can say that the 7th day Adventist belief, that the mark of the beast is a heresy..... But,, you know there is no scripture that supports Sunday observance of the sabbath. You know..

The true heresy is sunday observance,, of which the christian world has been decieved.

Yet,, you sit,, and have contempt for those who are scripturally sound and recognize that Gods sabbath isn't Sunday,, it's the 7th day as the Commandment states!

So,, you are the one that is DRUNK with the wine of Rome,, for you keep her mandates ( Sunday Observance).

And you're gonna sit here and claim the SDAs claims are heresy? You won't be able to prove it with Scripture!

The mark of the beast is the changing of Gods law and enforcing that change. That is the Definition.

The mark hasn't been enforced yet... Everybody will be warned. Then,,, Sunday observance will become law.

Perhaps the 7th day church came out with this,,, but,,,, why hasn't your church came out and told us what the mark of the beast is,,,,,, or is your church spiritually blind and has no idea what the mark of the beast is?

I say your church lacks a gift..... the Gift of Prophecy,,,for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy!

We Adventists have a Lord that doesn't leave us in the dark wondering. We know what is to come. We stand and warn you. God will do nothing, unless He first tells His prophets!

It's an obvious heresy that arose from the false prophets and false teachers of the SDA cult. That is a fact.

Fact number two: You are free to worship God on all seven days of the week not just when the SDA church tells you that you can. If one wants to congregate to worship on Saturday or Sunday, or even Monday they have the freedom under the new covenant to do so. Please don't insult our intelligence or distort the Bible's instructions to perpetuate the myth that Sunday is the Mark of the Beast, a replacement of Saturday. It is not. Worship is a way of life not a particular day of assembly over another day.

Read: what Day are we allowed to worship

The rest of your post is rambling unsubstantiated false assertions defined as opinionated screed (c : a ranting piece of writing). You are obviously deceived, but the choice to remain in your deception is, as always, your own.

Moving along...

If your intelligence is insulted,, that's too bad... I noticed that you have no scripture to refute the Sda Claim that the mark of the beast is the changing of Gods law and enforcing that change.

But hey,,, if you can't find any scripture to attack with,, attack the messenger...... That is an attribute of Satan,, and you are nicely exhibiting it.

have a nice, scriptureless day.

Here is a quote from your website...

"Lev. 23:28-32: “And you shall do no work on that same day, for it is the Day of Atonement, to make atonement for you before the LORD your God. “For any person who is not afflicted in soul on that same day shall be cut off from his people. “And any person who does any work on that same day, that person I will destroy from among his people. “You shall do no manner of work; it shall be a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings. “It shall be to you a Sabbath of solemn rest, and you shall afflict your souls; on the ninth day of the month at evening, from evening to evening, you shall celebrate your sabbath.”

Looks like God himself changed the day! By giving them another Sabbath rest, but they kept it just like the 7th day Sabbath. The same penalty was enforced for violating the day just as the Sabbath. This is because the Sabbath is not just limited to the 7th day, it's meaning is rest and there were other Holy Days called the Sabbath."

This is amazing ignorance.

The weekly Sabbath is found in this passage...

Lev 23:3 Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.

They deceitfully omitted the first couple of verses from the description of the passage...

Lev 23:26 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Lev 23:27 Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.

This is not the weekly Sabbath, it is a high day and occurs once a year. It is an annual Sabbath, the Day of Atonement.

The most damnable lie is a half-truth told with the intention to deceive. There are seven ANNUAL Holydays and they are NOT just like the weekly Sabbath.

Well, I don't get my theology from the devil, false prophets, false teachers, or religious cults. I get my theology from a historically sound orthodox exegesis of scripture.

Now you just made a false assertion because I've included a wealth of scriptures and links to scripture refuting the heretical SDA claim in my previous posts.

See here: http://christianchat.com/bible-discussion-forum/70200-mark-beast-sunday-laws-14.html#post1134400
See here: http://christianchat.com/bible-discussion-forum/70200-mark-beast-sunday-laws-16.html#post1135012
See here: what Day are we allowed to worship
Etc...

So in addition to projecting your own emotional quotient on me (I'm not insulted but you appear to be), you are saying things that simply are not true.

You have a nice, scripture-ful day by reading the scripture in my posts.

If your intelligence is insulted,, that's too bad... I noticed that you have no scripture to refute the Sda Claim that the mark of the beast is the changing of Gods law and enforcing that change.

I think the point that particular author was making John was that there was more than just a weekly Sabbath. There was Sabbath as day, Sabbath as week, annual Sabbaths, and seventh-year Sabbatical.

But let's look at deceitful proselyting using half truths with regards to SDA leaders since you brought it up:
