Personally I would say its an account of how man at the time viewed the world and its an early attempt to explain things they knew nothing about.

It is a testimonial left as a witness. What I mean is that all the men talked about in it, both good and bad are dead. It is a warning not to live like them. One in which we still have yet to heed as we continue to build upon what we know is already destroyed.

the Bible is a consistent message produced over 2000 years and 60 authors - the fact that it's the number 1 selling book, and number 1 hated book would destroy that arguement

Britney Spears was the number 1 selling artist at one time, and also became quite hated too.

The Holy Bible is the owners manual for humanity.

Too bad that most people never bother to read owners manuals...

looks like that atheist that wanted to get banned and got his wishes made his way back to troll some more.

the slight difference between britney spears and the Bible, is that britney had a #1 spot for about a year, the Bible has been standing for a couple thousand years, for example.

The bible is our instruction. Every word of it. It isn't about good and bad people. It's about what's right and what's not.

I would submit that there was no one good in the Bible, that the Bible is about a Good God, and bad people that He used to turn towards good for the praise of His glory and His purposes

This is freeing because I know in me nothing good dwells, I don't have to look at people in the Bible as more than me, or less than me. That God can use anyone for His glory, and it doesn't always look the same.

That the Bible is about God

I don't agree totally with this statement. Hell and death were not originally created for man.
