It takes relationship with Christ and your Heavenly Father and the Holy Spirit to learn how to become sin's master. Sin is anything that makes us doubt and fear or wavier. For example, let's say that you left the oven on at home, or maybe you left home, and perhaps you left the burner on. If you know for sure that you didn't... then there is no fear, no doubt, no wavering as to whether or not you are going to burn down the house and hurt someone inside that may not be paying attention. If you are not confident... well... maybe you did leave it on... did you? Should you go back and check? What if you can't get back? This is the power of sin... it works with any rule or any moral standard. God's, or man's.
Sin gained it's power unto death through the law of Moses. This is why Jesus fulfilled the Law and everything that ever came from the prophets. To conquer sin and death.
Now... put Jesus into the stove/burner equation. Listen carefully and apply it to your life.
Jesus turned off the burner for you
You don't have to worry about it. It's off. You are safe. You don't have to doubt. You are saved. Just keep trusting in Christ.
Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is speaking a word against the Holy Spirit and it ultimately comes down to not receiving Christ and declaring unto death that the Holy Spirit is of Satan and refusing to receive Christ to attain God's righteousness. We have our whole lives to make up our final word on who Jesus is and who's Spirit He is of, blaspheming Jesus is forgivable unto men.. so He is the only way out.
Love always wins and mercy always triumphs over judgment.
The Bible says that a word spoken against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven unto men (and son's of men).... unto who? "men" .....If you receive Christ... what are you? You are no longer man... you are spirit.
Your spirit is perfect, seated with Christ... now... what happens to the "man" who you see in the mirror? Is that you? The answer is no... you are spirit and that man will be changed to a new creation, no longer man, to be united with who you really are in Christ, a reborn spirit, a new creation birthed from God.
So you are spirit... one with God.... not man.... .....so what happens to all those who did not receive Christ?.... ...they are not spirit... they are man.... they will not be forgiven that sin.... which comes down to not receiving Christ and not being born again....
If you have received Christ, you are born anew and no longer man.... You are in a process of renewing your mind, going from glory to glory. This is a process called: working out our salvation with fear and trembling.... It's a scary thing to trust in the blood of Christ alone to save us....especially when God starts making everything but the blood of Christ fail us... but... it all works out, God will complete what He has started in you, and God works all the bad together for good for those who are called according to His purpose.... this is you!
So.. even if the "man" portion of you once said a word against the Holy Spirit... it doesn't matter... because if you believe in Christ, you will be reborn as a spirit... and the man won't have to be forgiven because Christ took the punishment and the man will be translated to life (to spirit) without having to pay the penalty of his sin, exchanging his sin for Christ's righteousness.. Now you have never done anything wrong... ..You are the righteousness of Christ. God's own righteousness is who you are. ....it's a good deal
...your sins are as far away as the east is from the west, never to be remembered.
There are only two sins that lead unto death.... not receiving Christ and not fulfilling God's law. We receive Christ when we call upon His name to be saved and we fulfill God's law by loving our neighbor as our self.
His yoke is easy and his burden is light. Do not get tangled up in religion trying to bare the burden of the law of Moses which not even the Jews could bare. If you want religion.... help people as you are able, love the best you can, the way you would want to be loved, and speak life, capture any bad thoughts about people, and yourself, (the best that you are able) and say no... God loves me, and He loves those people.
And remember..... Jesus turned the burner off
