the tea party appears to have become a caricature of reactionary self-destruction.
i don't think the GOP is controlled by the tea party.
the GOP is controlled by Wall Street.

Uh huh....

Compassion should not be something looked for in a political party, or a government for that matter. Compassion is for individuals to exercise. Strict adherence to the Constitution - something we've not seen in a long time - is what's needed. It's the increasing distance from Constitutional principle that's gotten us where we're at. The GOP controlled by the Tea Party? Seriously? I wish it were so! The Republican Party is anything but conservative any more, but rather is controlled by the establishment Republicans who are pretty much down to the last man the worst of RINOs.

Jesus was for paying your taxes, treating servants fairly, and universal health(care). Never associated Him as a Marxist, but thanks for pointing that out.

You can bet Jesus was never a tea-bagger.

Okay, I hate to be "that guy" but please post where Jesus advocates for socialized medicine. Chapter and verse. Write a polemic if you have to.

I think we all can agree Jesus, being King of Kings and Lord of Lords would not have a political affiliation. What political affiliation he calls us to is another story.

And one of the company said unto him, Master, speak to my brother, that he divide the inheritance with me.
And he said unto him, Man, who made me a judge or a divider over you?
And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.

I am not advocating for the rich, far from it. Jesus had some harsh words for the rich. I think the biggest problem I have with Ricky's statements is when he said that money hoarding people = Republicans. That is baloney.

I can add to my list, for Ricky's viewing pleasure: Michael Moore, Al Gore; John Edwards; Michael Bloomberg; Rupert Murdoch; and pretty much all of Hollywood, minus a few action stars.

Yes, yes, and how do you figure that one?

Never associated Him as a Marxist, but thanks for pointing that out.
That's because He didn't dig into someone elses pockets when he gave out fish and bread. He multiplied what he had, miraculously.

You can bet Jesus was never a tea-bagger.
He always used his own miracles, instead of stealing someone elses fish and bread. Additionally, he sent the boy home with more fish and bread than what was given to Jesus.

We'll give you the benefit of the doubt Ricky on your usage of the word "teabagger". I have seen it reported many times that this term refers to a very vulgar sexual activity. I hope you'd agree that this term should not be used to describe decent, God-fearing Americans, especially on a Christ centered forum.

Jesus was the ultimate conservative.

He was proven perfect by the Law and followed it perfectly. It was the religious leaders of the day who perverted the Law adding more rules and worshiped the rules more than truth....that's a the big government truth perverting liberal ideal.

Since conservatives give more to charity than liberals do ( its an easy google ) and since conservatives know, the poverty we can do something about is only cured by a job, not a handout and the liberal solution only creates unemployment....then...who is more compassionate?

Its an easy choice.

The stumbling block is this......personal responsibility and taking life on your own terms, is never going to be bought by those who cling to the liberal ideal.

They will bring up the one in ten million circumstance to support their reasoning for their marxist utopias.

See, compassion for compassion's sake only encourages and creates irresponsible people. Its how humans were made, post fall anyways. Any parent will tell you, love is tempered with stewardship and common sence. Unlimited love only creates dependent and lazy kids.

....but it makes you feel good to force others by a gun ( taxes ) to give it to people. Thats another problem...people thinking they are good people for supporting liberal ideals. Its ironic since most liberal ideals foster the same things that they say they are against.

Your marxist king, Obama..how is he doing? Lets see..lied about our ambassador in Lybia...lied about Obamacare....lied about the unemployment stats before the election....over 90 million people out of work...increase in debt and taxes...inflation....still in Afghanistan and Iraq...countless scandals, heck even the liberal news media is after him.

Marxism never works because it does not recognize the nature of man. It only taps into our desires to covet and to feel without thinking.

Jesus was no marxist. The Acts church was not socialist. No communist country has ever succeeded.

God loves people, He cannot be a liberal. ( He is not conservative either...He is above that )

I get very irritated when people say Jesus was a liberal. Like Son In Me said, Jesus is above that. He's far above that. Politics is an earthly thing.
