If one was claiming salvation by any other way except through Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God, should I not confront it. If one comes full of anger and bitterness and preach the Christ in that anger and bitterness, should I not lend a hand to show that God is Love instead?

Yes. And having stones thrown back hurts all the same. I think I read in Scripture where it says to repay evil with good. It is a funny thing to see someone hurling stones at someone and that person picks up a stone and hands it to the one hurling and say, "Here, let me help you".

I understand what you mean. People normally respond in the way they are being treated. Sometimes, we just need to forgive and move on. Resentment destroys. But, there is hope in forgiveness.
