Where's my FREE PlayStation then?
There were some cutbacks.

All you get is this... the worlds smallest violin. It's also invisible. But hey, it's free.

Man has never tried what I'm proposing. It is not from man.
Man has tried. Socialism has fell its maker. Utopia is what we lost with God and it will take God to bring it back.

We are giving hope for the coming Kingdom of Christ. But, if our hope is not in Him, then it is in man. Thousands and thousands of years of man's rule has only gotten us to the point of things you speak about.

Spiritoffire, let us put effort into praying for His Kingdom come and when it does, we all would be amazed at the ruling King and how it does take God Himself to bring in what was lost when we first set out to do things ourselves.

I'd rather put my efforts into making His kingdom a reality.

I see spiritoffire's point in away.
If we all lived by Christ's teachings we would not need money... Everyone would do their part and share

One huge problem everyone doesn't believe in God so as Cfultz says it then becomes socialism which still requires commerce and commerce requires money or trading...

I live in remote very rural Alaska and my dad catches most of our food in fishing nets, we hunt for some of the rest. Yet still he must sell some of the fish he catches to buy things we can't grow or make. Now could we live without money? Probably easier than many but would I be talking to you now? No...

Just my thoughts...
love you all,
lexi

For the last time, NO, because we live in a fallen world. That doesn't mean we shouldn't love and serve our neighbours but we'll never live in a paradise this side of the New Heaven and the New Earth. For someone who calls themself a Christian, you sure don't seem to understand the absolute basics of your faith.
apparently neither do you with having a judgmental attitude like that. He never said it could be a paradise here but if a few more people patterned their life like the bible says it would be a better world

Not true. This isn't a once off thread, Spirit continually spreads false teachings. He's always going on about such things.

State what I said is false. Then I'd like you to once again tell me the truth.

All have sinned. What makes you better than another sinner? Belief???

This economy will fall! This is fact and from God.

And a false world leader will lead everyone into idolatry and global apostasy. Do you think your utopian society can counteract scripture?

You will die waiting on that as well. Again no man needs another man to rule over him. The works is in idolatry now if I'm being fought hand and foot about doing away with money at the benefit of all.

Thousands upon thousands die everyday because we treat money like our God.

 It has never occurred to me to go on the internet and mock other people's medical problems--like an inability to fast.
Fasting doesn't mean simply not to eat. I want a ps4 too. But for the kingdom I can do without.

Stop paying for it. Show them that their money is useless in as much an everyday living as possible. Stop going out to eat. If we fast from this system and not put value into it, we will get EVERYTHING! Juat as Israel did when they left egypt.

1 Samuel 2:7The Lord maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up.
We can't take what the bible says literally.

  • Eve was not literally formed from Adam's rib. That is just symbolism for the man and the woman being meant to live together as one.
  • Mustard trees can't literally be planted in the middle of the ocean, that is just symbolism for faith being able to nurture and grow every time anywhere.
  • Snakes can't talk. The snake just symbolizes the deception, stealth, and cunning of Satan.
  • We will be rich in Heaven with love, not money.

Remember that the bible essentially has non-human hands behind it. We can't take everything the bible says literally, because God is an entirely different creature. He would use terminology that we're not used to.

There will be a street of gold hmm i wonder if we would spend that :)
I think thats a metaphor, some people say it should have translated to streets of light, which makes more sense. Personally I think we will go back to the big garden like God intended in the first place, Man was created and put in a garden which would have been magnificent, when the perfect world is returned, I'm sure it will look like the world when God first created it
