Whats the source of christians saying jesus is god... the bible. well muslims use the quran as there word just like we do for the bible.
I was once debating with a muslim about which book could be right, and that this will be always be a battle because no one can really prove which is right.
he said " well, two things. Islam is a religion from Abraham, so no doubt these are the three main religions. The koran mentions EVERYTHING the bible mentions, except the teachings of jesus being god. The bible itself mentions JESUS is not god, then mention he is. How many versions of the bible are there..?"
i said " I dont know, many"
he said, "well, theres only one book for us, and its been the same for the last 1400 years and NO VERSIONS have been made of it. We dont follow the Koran of mark, koran of muhammad, koran of peter, we follow the KORAN which is the book of god. we dont need other people recreating our book and confusing our own people with their OWN OPINIONS. we simply read the book and understand it. Us muslims Know your bible more than yourselves, we follow JESUS teachings according to the bible better than christians, Maybe some muslims practice jihad, NOT offensive JIHAD but defensive. WHICH is killing because we were attacked first."
i said "Exactly, killing all in all is wrong so why do it"
he said "I will never kill, nor will any other muslim i know, the ones in the middle east being Attacked will, but i wont. God clearly mentioned in the koran Killing one life is as if you killed the whole world, and saving one life is as youve saved the whole world"
i mentioned about muslim women
he said "my mother, my sister, and all the women in my family are treated as queens, we live the normal american life, go out watch movies, go to the mall, interact, as a normal family. Yes, many arabs hit their wives i wont deny it, but tell me when the last time women abuse in AMERICA wasnt a problem? There are many bad people on earth, its who YOU decide to be and decide what to do"

Heres what i heard which honestly made my heart drop for christianity.
he said "Have you watched that one movie the book of eli, where denzel memorizes the bible because there were no more bibles left? did you notice how HAPPY the people on the island were when they realized that someone actually was going to KEEP the bible, THE WORD OF GOD alive? did you see that?"
i said "Yes i remember"
He said "If Every Koran in the world was burnt, maybe i wont be the one to keep it alive for the world, but muslims could have 1 million muslims lined up, repeating everysingle verse word for word in the same order it was written at the same time. Thats how dedicated we are to our religion. What you see on the media, thats 1% of the muslims, Dont let your ears deceive you, because hey im talking to you right now and your about to leave, you are going to leave Alive"

Honest this was as close as i can remember word for word of what he said.
I have never met a more gentle, caring person then him. This was almost one year ago and when i was a muslim racist.
They tone, the evil, i had towards him while having that debate was unreal, Why?
Because my mother taught me muslims were bad, why? because she watchs the news and never cared to learn, not even about christianity did she care.
Well, thats my point.. and honestly, everything just makes sense about their religion.
By the way... Do we christians follow the TORAH in any way? is it considered part of the old testament?
