Ok people, lets stop this nonsense.

1. Not everyone in porn is some psychopath, a charity case, had an awful life, etc. etc. Some people go into porn because they like it. I'm not exactly sure how so many of you miss this, especially because it relates to SEX(one of the most enjoyed acts agreed upon by humans across the globe), but yeah, stop treating everyone who is in porn like they had some horrible trauma that got them into it.

2. Human trafficking does NOT relate to mainstream porn. That assumption is completely baseless. I mean you are comparing a plethora of illegal activity that harms a person to one that doesn't harm a person and is perfectly legal. It's like comparing smoking a cigar to smoking heroine.

3. Porn is "normal". Like it or not, the majority of people(yes even christians) watch porn. That defines it as normal within society.

Now it might not be "right" according to the bible, but according to society it is within the definition of "normal".

Ah so normality determines morality. Sounds kind of like Macchiaveli's might makes right. The sad part is that you are living in Nazi Germany and you don't even know it. Trust in Jesus to have your eyes opened to what's going on around you. Soften your heart or you will never know Truth,.

Hey, I can hope to point out the obvious. Even though the blind may be too late.

Nazi Germany ended in 1945. Please, don't make stupid statements like "trust in jesus to open your eyes to the truth".

This isn't some conspiracy thread, cmon now.

Porn is looking for love and intimacy, pleasure, comfort in the WRONG place. Often a soul that is hurting, feeling lonely, frustrated and dissatisfied can be tempted to watch porn, almost like a compulsion, to fill up the emptiness Inside.

But immediately after watching, one will feel even worse, more empty, more disgusted and dirty. It is one of the most destructive things you can do to your soul.

People think that only men are addicted to porn, but it's a lie. Women have souls too and if they are without Christ, in a place of intense suffering and emptiness, they will turn to "mechanical" sex like prostitution or pornography in order to fill that void, to feel wanted and desired, even if it is for a few moments, even if it is just an illusion.

I struggled with porn for years, because i had suffered so much rejection in my life, emotional rejection from my parents and relationship issues with my father especially. I grew up hurting and confused, and i was angry, so i turned to porn as means to find a little pleasure, an escape from my pain.

But all i reaped from that was destruction, it made the darkness worse, it brought shame and more pain.

When i became a christian, the Lord baptized me with his Holy Spirit and i received a strong power to move as a minister, i also went into serious warfare and spiritual cleansing from all the Junk i had invited in through sexual sins.

And that is when the most interesting thing happened, i saw the enemy come at me constantly with strong temptations to revert back into porn and he used people around me to reject me all the time, because he knew that pain was my trigger.

If you are a servant of God, porn is only there to destroy your anointing, to expose you out from your armor, and to give satan an opportunity to strike you when you are "unshielded". It is also intended to kill your ministry and bring disgrace.

Once your eyes are opened to what porn is really after, what is the goal of satan behind it, you will never feel tempted again.

This is a WAR, and no soldier goes on the battlefield with his mind on sex, or else he is a loser from the start.

If you are Wise, and if you know the glory of the great King you have been called to serve, you will never again be lured into porn, no matter how many arrows of rejection and temptation the evil one throws at you.

STAND UP ARMY OF GOD!

God bless you all :)

you've banned....
Still if you think there is something you can prove more apart form the people who are much older than you and me,feel free to come in a chat room or message me privately...

As far as i see it,you have been banned because you are careless to listening to the point. If you had serious doubts or came to teach you should have better waited for the opportunity and Prayed to God more...
God would have gave you chance...
Learn Patience, its needed as a Christian...

Do you know what banned means?

And you don't know what the reasons why he is banned are. You're just making guesses. And 'not listening' to others viewpoints isn't a bannable offense anyways.

That's pretty deep, but wrong on both accounts.

1. Porn(not defending it) is profitable because it promotes "excitement", of a sexual kind. Same reason R-rated movies attract adult audiences is the reason porn attracts its main audience. There is no "deep hole" that people need to fill when watching it.

2. There are plenty of worse things you can do to your soul. First world problems are when you think porn is a bigger issue than drugs or war.

Porn conveys rape of women and also shows a very poor relationship between a man and a woman. It also encourages "voyeurism" (looking through the keyhole of another couple, which is sick).

Porn does not "convey" the raping of women in mainstream porn. Now there are illegal or fetish type genre's, but the mainstream does not do that.
*(I'm informing you here, since you seem to not understand that mainstream porn does not have rape in it.)

Relationships in most media or poor, voyeurism just comes with the "TV Era".

I don't think that porn is healthy for any relationship, the fact that a guy gets off on porn behind his girlfriends back is already a sin. Then next sin is, he then lies about it, also cover up what he has done wrong... What the guys don't understand is "how they break us into pieces" and then you end up with worse problems than this. I know what I'm talking about...Im currently in similar situation with my guy!

Porn is generally not for people in relationships though. I believe there was a movie that came out called "Don Jon" that dealt with porn habits quite well.

The reason porn tears up relationships is because the fantasy of it cannot be applied to the reality of your relationship.

it doesn't matter,.....you can read all my comments here from my joining date and if you find me offensive enough please do report and ban me...
i just responded to his comments and he had a comment for me specially to a question that pierced his heart ...
i meant it..i dont have double stands in many of the things i have understood in my Faith Life in Jesus..
and also,i think i have found several times your comments offensive,....i just take them as difference 'in way of talking' since we live in different geographical locations ...

So don't scare me..i don't come here to talk to privileged people, but to the unprivileged...
In God,there are only Christians...
am not ashamed of what i told him,if i am.... i will apologize..

So next time, please have no warnings, you can report straight...
i will be only sad for the testimonies i miss and supports i can share to others who are looking for a grip to stand still through tough times..apart from that i know what to ignore...

And Love all the same including you..:)
Learn to talk straight,or let me know for message that i have been removed..
Don't threaten...

Don't threaten...
I didn't threaten anything. I simply asked if you knew what the word ban means. The definition. The meaning. It was a simple question that you turned into some self righteous, defensive rant against me that had absolutely NOTHING to do with what i asked.
"Learn to talk straight" you say. I did talk straight. I asked if you knew what a word meant. If you took that as a threat that's your issue. Because guess what... I CAN'T BAN ANYONE. And nothing in your post was even reportable! So i couldn't even TRY to get you banned even IF i had wanted to (which was never my intent nor was it implied) because there's nothing to even report in your post.
If you hadn't gotten so defensive and quick to attack me for YOUR misunderstanding you would have had a chance to understand why i asked. Because you asked a banned user to message you. Banned. As in no longer allowed to function on the site. Can't PM. Can't post. Can't use chat rooms. Can't even log in. So because you asked someone who is not able to log in and use the features of the site and ask them to use the site to contact you, while acknowledging their being banned, is why i asked if you knew what ban meant. Because you wanted them to do something they Can't do.

So perhaps the issue isn't me 'threatening' (which i can't do since i don't have ban abilities, nor do i have the ability to influence who mods decide to ban) or not 'talking straight', but rather you taking a simple question as an attack and lashing out in your ignorance.

Bottom line, i had no ill feelings toward your post. I was simply asking a question and informing you that it's presumptuous of you to know why anyone is banned. If you take that as threatening or not talking straight that's your problem. My attitude and my post were with good intentions.

my dear bro,
i know what the term 'banned' means...
i was just replying to what he said with regard to a straight question i asked him...

Regarding you, there were times i felt you were very sarcastic...but i know that you also have deep values in Faith Life you keep.
All i wanted was that person should know that having Patience always works...
Never meant anything to be rude to you.

Love you the same in Christ like before..
:) God Bless.

Wow!

Someone said: "3. Porn is "normal". Like it or not, the majority of people(yes even christians) watch porn. That defines it as normal within society."

"Normality" is sickness and vices from the world GOD helped us to scape.

I´m thankful I can run now from it. :)

When God comes in filth must move out,He kicks it out even if its a tough battle...
God's Grace is so powerful that all kinds of filth looses grip on one's heart and mind...

satan must leave, and its all possible when we Pray more..:)
Thanks for sharing your view..
