What is the Biblical/Scriptural evidence that Mary, or any other for that matter, is able to hear prayers, and then approach God to intercede?

Some people are against praying to St. Mary because they say she is dead. They do not believe that she, along with the saints, are now part of the triumphant Church.

2 Corinthians 4:18
So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

Because we can't perceive them like we can't perceive God by the natural, doesn't means that they aren't living.

Revelation 4:4
Surrounding the throne were twenty-four other thrones, and seated on them were twenty-four elders. They were dressed in white and had crowns of gold on their heads.

Romans 1
God's Wrath on Unrighteousness

Not here on earth...........and that was the point...........just as we have a "Prayer Request" Forum where believers can share their needs and concerns with other believers and ask for prayer support............

For your comment to make sense, I would have to believe that you pray to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob........do you? For what reason?

It's in its proper discussion between Jesus and the woman...

Just reading it shows that Jesus regarded those who fear God. Mary isn't so exalted in this verse...

Mary is not now, nor has she ever been, a co-mediator. That is patently unbiblical. There is absolutely no reason to pray to any dead person.

No problem. I can just imagine those who do saying the same thing as the woman, and Jesus responding the same way back. It is idolatry to pray or worship Mary. We don't need a mediator to another mediator, just as we don't ask a priest for the forgiveness of sins.

Abraham, Isaac and Jacob do not represent the new creation (the church), St. Mary does.

They believe Mary was born without sin (immaculata conception).
We believe she was born with sin (like any other human being), but has been sanctified by God's grace (God's uncreated energies, in Eastern Orthodox Church).

Can you quote the book, verse, and chapter on that one for me please?
Although I already know the answer to this, I would like to see the scripture concerning it as well.

These magical rosary beads, this praying to Mary, doing hail-mary's, etc... all of it is idolatry plain and simple. As many have said, Jesus Christ IS the mediator. It spelled out plain as day throughout the Bible. I can't believe it's still being discussed to this day, being there is no scriptural support for Mary being anything other than than Jesus' earthly mother.
