Staring at it, hahaha. Thinking and praying all the way.

2. Name a celebrity that you think is way over-rated:
All of dem.

3. Ideal camping set-up; are you a tent-in-the-woods kind of camper, an RV in a park with plenty of modern conveniences type, a cabin in the mountains or by a lake type...? I think I mean, how do you do the camping thing?
Well. I would get claustrophobic in both scenarios, camping for more than two days outdoors with bugs! Ahh! Now. I don't mind being outdoors, I absolutely love it, but sleeping next to beetles and mosquitoes on rocky ground hurts my back. Mountains are also cool.

4. What's on the walls in your bedroom?
Butterflies, a whimsical looking flower thing I got from hobby lobby, John 3:16 verse, "In the gentle depths of the soul everyone deserves to feel beautiful," live laugh love (yeah, I sound horrible haha)... and then some calendars.
5. What are 3 things that you find beautiful that other people seem to generally not notice?
Hmm...God's truth. It's kind of awesome to see God's truth being brought to life through his word...most people see it as a nuisance. Spotting a bug flying around the house and catching it, then letting it drown under water. Uh. Then...Coffee.

1. What movie deserves a sequel? Forrest Gump. I'd like to find out how it goes for little Forrest.

2. What one toy would you like to throw repeatedly at a brick wall? This stuffed electronic Barney my daughter was gifted. It wanted to play with the children, and would randomly wake up at night and talk. Creepy.

3. What is one thing you always wanted as a kid, but never got? A trip to Disneyland.

4. Where do you not mind waiting? In my daughter's living room while she nurses little man. I can wait. :)

5. What is your most impressive car repair skill? I can change a tire on the side of the freeway in the freezing cold in about 15 mins. Not bad for a girl.

1. Favorite way to spend a rainy afternoon? Playing video games w/my husband.

2. Name a celebrity that you think is way over-rated:
All of them.

3. Ideal camping set-up; are you a tent-in-the-woods kind of camper, an RV in a park with plenty of modern conveniences type, a cabin in the mountains or by a lake type...? I think I mean, how do you do the camping thing?
Depends. When I'm going to the beach, convenience is good, cause the experience is the beach, so I'll take that hot shower and warm bed at the campground. If I'm heading to the mountains, I'm taking a cooler with some food, a way to light a fire, and my van with the mattress on the floor. Oh, and four dogs, no matter where I go.

4. What's on the walls in your bedroom?
Paint.

5. What are 3 things that you find beautiful that other people seem to generally not notice?
The wind. It whispers at me almost every where I go, and I notice when it's not present. It's invisible, but I can feel it and and touch it. I love it when it's a tiny breeze that cools my sweaty brow and I love it when it's a hurricane force blast that makes my face feel cold.

Favorite way to spend a rainy afternoon?
I feel like I often end up spending these online, but I think a book is a good way to go, especially since I am blessed with a covered porch.

Name a celebrity that you think is way overrated.
I had to think a bit about this one. Megan Fox is a good one, Pipp! I'd have to go with Channing Tatum, basically the male version of Megan Fox if we're going by why they actually get cast in movies.

Ideal camping setup?
Well, I'm not sure if a cabin in the mountains counts as camping, but I'd definitely pick that. My second choice would be in a tent, because I don't count RVing as real camping ;)

What's on the walls in your bedroom?
I am really sad to admit...nothing. There is nothing on the walls in my bedroom, and I didn't even realize it until just now. This must change.

What are three things that you find beautiful that other people seem to generally not notice?
1. A cloudy blue sky, especially close to sunset.
2. Little girls dancing around and pretending to be ballerinas
3. Fire

1. Favorite way to spend a rainy afternoon?
Playing in it. Splashing barefoot through puddles.

2. Name a celebrity that you think is way over-rated:
Um...Keira Knightley, but it's possible I'm just still fuming about her contribution to ruining the Focus Features version of Pride & Prejudice.

3. Ideal camping set-up; are you a tent-in-the-woods kind of camper, an RV in a park with plenty of modern conveniences type, a cabin in the mountains or by a lake type...? I think I mean, how do you do the camping thing?

Any/all of the above. I don't much enjoy sleeping on the ground, but I like crawling out of the tent as the sun comes up. RVs have their appeal too. And cabins in the mountains...so very Little House on the Prairie feeling, which is pretty neat.

4. What's on the walls in your bedroom?
Nothing. I haven't done anything with my room.

5. What are 3 things that you find beautiful that other people seem to generally not notice?
- Brand new mommies...When I see a woman at the grocery store with a tiiiiny baby, I always like to look at her face, see how she's holding up. Most of them look like ten miles of rough road, but knowing why, and seeing it's similar for everyone...I dunno. Something special about it.
- Traffic. Like when you see on the news the lanes and lanes of barely moving cars backed up for miles. Aside from how cool it is that I'm not stuck in the middle of it, seeing that many different kinds of vehicles in so many different colors containing so many different, unique people...sort of amazing.
- Um...this:
A car with a serious oil leak drove through the parking lot here, and then it rained...I'm weird, I know.

1. Favorite way to spend a rainy afternoon?

well, IF i am contemplating going on a run, a bit of rain will help decide it for me. it sort of activates my whole mild rebellion thing, since i was always supposed to "come out of the rain" as a kid.

then, come back, take a shower, and drink tea, maybe goof off online or start a pot of soup for dinner. i love rainy fall and winter for their great soup/stew inspirations.

rain just makes me want to settle in and find a corner to be cozy in.

2. Name a celebrity that you think is way over-rated:

honestly, 99% of them. i'm so NOT impressed. and i'm going to agree with everyone who's been mentioned.

3. Ideal camping set-up; are you a tent-in-the-woods kind of camper, an RV in a park with plenty of modern conveniences type, a cabin in the mountains or by a lake type...? I think I mean, how do you do the camping thing?

it completely depends upon with whom i'm camping. i'm down with rustic, but only with people who enjoy that too, because nothing is worse than being with a camping whiner. just.shoot.me.

i would also really enjoy camping in an RV or doing the cabin/lake thing.

i would say rustic gets old after a long weekend, 4 days tops. and the more amenities, the longer it is fun to do.

the only thing i don't like is camping in areas with lots of direct sunlight. usually, i come back burnt and broken, in addition to the requisite bug bites.

4. What's on the walls in your bedroom?

i decorate with a lot of photography. i have pictures from yosemite, some microscapes i took from my flower garden, a sign made from reclaimed fence boards that i painted john 13:34,35 on, and a cool old map (i'm also obsessed with maps).

on the door to my bathroom is a poster of the periodic table.

5. What are 3 things that you find beautiful that other people seem to generally not notice?

only three??? this is going to be hard.

barbed wire - i have a weird history with it, and i find it horribly symbolic.

words, communication, how people express themselves - i am endlessly amused and fascinated by rather profound statements that to me seem incredible, but seem decidedly unspecial to others. i also love how people communicate - their unique way of verbal expression. what they say, what they withhold, and how their personality eeks out of the most banal phrase. even statements i disagree with i can admire for the beauty and construction of its sentiments.

and while probably everyone knows that i'm an extrovert, they'd probably be surprised by how much i do notice, such as in chat. i love to observe how people uniquely express themselves, in tone, and their freedom of expression. i learn a lot about people through that subtle awareness.

others' hearts - it's what i notice first in someone, and that's usually how i think of people--in the manner in which they've revealed their hearts and how they relate/treat others. my mechanism and ability to read emotional energy is sometimes incredibly exhausting, and seldom can be shut off.

Ooo... ankle grabbing. Good one.
But then that makes me think of the old urban legend about people who hide under cars and slash the back of your heel. *shiver

1) If it is a cold rain curled up with a cup of tea and a good book or movie. I might go out an play in a warm rain if my inner rebel is feeling like it. And if it is a thunderstorm then I'm still going to work at getting the perfect lightning picture.

2) Ummmm the whole idea of celebrity is a bad and destructive one. There's got to be something better for people to spend their money on than entertainment and what borders on the worship (or gloating over misfortunes) of other people. (quick hide all your soapboxes)

3)Is this camping to camp or camping as in just staying close to nature. I bought a cheap $30 tent a few years ago so I could go visit some of the state parks that were a little too far away for a day trip and have cheap accommodation. I have to agree that bringing everything with you when you get away from it all kind of defeats the purpose. But my ideal house would probably be a cabin by a lake type of setup.

4) Paint, hooks to hang things on, and maybe a couple random decorative pieces.

5) Ummm, I rarely think about beauty. I'm an extremely practical kind of girl.
