Well yes. Jesus is my Lord and Saviour- He owns me, He is my Master. but what denomination does that make me .. if any?
I think the person is also saying that baptism makes the sins go away, which isn't right. It's a sign of what has already occurred when we trusted the Lord Jesus for salvation. (The sense in the Greek is 'baptised on account of the remission of sins'.)

Yes, my local church is undenominational.

Blessings.

I think God saved me long before my Baptism... but moreover that Baptism was a way for me to make it public enough for my brothers and sisters to begin to hold me accountable. the start of my Public Commitment to Christ.. i hope this doesn't start some circular discussion about baptism

I'm Lutheran (Missouri Synod Australia - more conservative than US Lutheranism, from what I've heard).

I follow Christ and his teachings as laid out in the Bible
Some of our beliefs include:

A Triune God - Father, Son, Spirit. One God in three persons. Not three gods
The Bible - God-breathed by the Holy Spirit
Salvation by faith alone
Jesus - fully God/fully man (when he was born, lived, died, ascended and is now)
Traditionally baptised as babies but can be baptised at any time
I can only agree :)
Lutheran Church in New Zealand (part of Lutheran Church Australia)

When I lived in Germany I was member of the mainstream lutheran Church in Germany, but they became more and more liberal (blessing of gay couples etc.) that I quit.

By the way it is better to go to a church where you disagree with some content than not go to church at all. If it was just about reading the bible, I could do it at home. Fellowship is important. Not just for me. I provide fellowship for the others as well. Isn't it good to see other people your age at church?

Reformed Presbyterian.

We have the best expository preaching and take-no-prisoners liturgy.

Also, we can drink.

Well, Biblical doctrine is so important, and trying to get it right is natural. But it's the that needs to be what ideas are measured by; not church groups.

I attend an Assemblies of God church, though, I wouldn't label myself as that, I go by what I read in the Bible.
:)

I am in the True Church True Traditional ORthodoxy though I am in the Western Rite. We are the only Church that condemns the apostasy of Ecumenism and Modernism (the mixing of Truth and error)

I started in a Non-Denominational Charismatic church, and then switched to a Baptist church, which means.............

.............. I went from a lot of emotion, to a lot of waves in a baptismal ocean (hey, that rhymes!!!)

I attend a nondenominational church. I consider myself a believer. I believe God is seperating me for a reason and I quit celebrating all pagan holidays. I know many people dont agree with me but I am doing it for God not man.
