Yep I would also consider myself single for all of my life so far. Not sure what other people would think since I've had a few pretty close guy friends that I have talked about a lot, but there was never any romance (whatever that is) involved. I tell people it's because I give off the "if you try anything I'll kill you, publicly humiliate you, and then knock you into the middle of next week" vibe. Seems to discourage most guys.

We've had some serious 'couples' discussions, one of them where I asked if I could cut off some of his beard and glue it to my face, which he disagreed to being a part of. The other night, I asked I could keep some of his beard in a little glass jar and then tie it around my neck, again, same response, he said 'no'.
But you know, eventually we'll come to that place where we can both compromise and come to some mutual agreement. Communication is the key!

I've been single now about 8 1/2 years. It has been very hard for many reasons. I was married over 25 years and divorced due to abuse of the children. I sure can see why God hates divorce. One parent was not meant to do all this alone. I dated three different men down through those years and I came away from that with a bad attitude toward men. God is healing me of that. I have come to the place where I am content to be single, and if God has somebody for me to spend the rest of my life with that is fine too.
