Some days it's awesome to be a nerd. I just checked out the thermal image scan for the taco I am enjoying for lunch. :D

Also my phone would like to wish everyone an early happy halloween.

I hate my new neighborhood. I had to grab a hammer and a big knife because there was someone cruising around people's houses, looking into their windows. We called the police, police eventually came. Person claimed he lives nearby. Here's the thing, though - whether he lives here or not, why the heck would he be looking around and into people's windows, including mine? When the police knocked on the door of the house he claimed to live at, the lady came out of the house livid at the person. But they both walked into the house, the police following not too far behind. Things got resolved. The man was not arrested. Things don't add up, and that bugs me. A lot. When that guy looked into the house's window, he acted like he didn't want to be caught. I mean if he was locked out, wouldn't he go up to the window or door of his house and be like, "*knock knock* Hey, I'm locked out! Could you help me out, here?" But no. He had to sneak around, looking through all these windows, making sure he didn't get caught. Makes a WHOLE lot of sense, right?

Yuuuup. I agree. I just wish the police would have taken it more serious. Maybe they gave him a warning, saying if they were called over again because of him they would arrest him? I don't know what all went down. I just watched from the window.

I am glad you are safe. :)

Alright folks. I am off to sleep. I am taking an off tomorrow. Hopefully I will meet some of you on chat. I should be online around 11pm EST.

Sometimes when I inject myself with insulin, the actual insulin itself stings. The needle doesn't hurt because it's so small, but the liquid hurts. I wonder why. I keep forgetting to ask my doctor.

If you guys don't already have one, please get an alarm system for your house. Did Mocha bark or anything? I hope he did. Mocha's a boy right?

What this guy's probably doing is looking for valuables that he can try to steal later on..

Oh and if u guys can't get an alarm at least get the alarm stickers and put them on all the doors and windows. They say they actually work because a thief would rather find a house without an alarm.

Yep, we have a good alarm system, too. Fairly high-tech. I love it. Way better than the one we used to. Mocha didn't bark because he didn't see or hear anything (though he's 12, he's still got decent eyes and great hearing). Neither of the dogs barked, actually. They typically bark at every other thing, but since we've moved, in some aspects they've been significantly quieter.

lil_christian: That's because they are in a new location and EVERYTHING is new. They don't know what to bark at yet.

arwen: Duly noted. We'll put out the bear traps, bolt the doors, bar the windows, all the standard stuff. :p
