I thought Harold Camping passed away? Too much concern over numbers and signs and not enough concern for the gospel.

I rather thought that the pillars of smoke could be volcanos. There have been several of those going off this year.

The 4 gospels include signs when Jesus was asked about the "signs of the end". Jesus replied... not one stone will be left standing. This could have been a future reference to the "Twin Towers".

Hardly. Signs Jesus talked about and which are described in revelation will make the twin towers look like an insignificant event. It is an obsession with some people wanting USA to fit in with prophecy and too many prophecy watchers trying to fit modern day events into end time prophecy. Results are stupid tin foil hat conspiracy theories.

The Bible says no one knows the time but it will be like a thief in the night.We shouldn't speculate or try to fit events into timelines.People do that with Nostradamus' works.You can twist events to say anything.There is the harbinger and blood moons and so on.Fine to guess but we do not know and we should work till Jesus comes as the old song says.

The last generation living before Jesus returns at the end of the Tribulation will witness all of Mat 24 events their own lifetime. I believe in a pre-trib rapture, which will also happen in those days. If the Lord takes someone up and away from all those troubles, those remaining will begin seeing the awful destruction described in Revelation. If witnessing it, then you are a part of the whole of it, for there is no line-up of terrible events before that rapture. It will happen in an "atomic nanosecond" with no warning except for the two trumpets, one for the dead in Christ to rise, the second for the living in Christ to rise changed to immortality. Then come the vials and tribulation. There is no indication in Revelation of that happening while hundreds of millions of people are dying while some go up instead. It will be too late for that for them.

Please quit this silliness. Jesus was not alluding to the twin towers. Prophecy is toward Israel and the stones were the stones of the temple in Jerusalem.

If the US has anything in the end times it may be NYC burning as the center of world commerce.

Jesus came to Israel and His words were given to Israel. The end times are focused on Israel. When Jesus returns He will return to Jerusalem.

When the Gentile nations come against Israel they will be destroyed.

Roger I tend to agree with you on this one.Israel is the center of the end times.We can see their enemies lining up now.The middle east is the place to watch.

Yeah read down 3 more verses as Paul also said that the Thessalonian church was not in darkness that that day should overtake them as a THIEF! 1st Thessalonians 5:1-4

Revelation 13 deals with the Jews, Hitler & Roosevelt... then jumps to the future in Revelation 18 dealing with the Gentiles & 9/11. Apollyon = (110) = Adolf Hitler = Osama Bin Laden! The first 3.5 years are from 1942 to 1945 & the second 3.5 years are from 2012 to 2015. Obama's second term began in 2012.

Barack Hussein Obama II | Islamic Terrorism | End of Days | Great Tribulation = (165) + (201) + (93) + (192) = 666! Then the seven angels pour out the seven plagues. 1942 + 70 years (a generation) = 2012... the beginning of the last 3.5 years.

George Washington was born in 1732... + 280 yrs. (70 yrs. x 4), or (40 yrs. x 7) = 2012.
1776 is the birth of America... + 240 yrs. (40 yrs. x 7) = 2016... the 7 plagues poured out on the wicked who have accepted the "number & mark"... which is the #SSN & #UPC!
