So I was busy drawing when I suddenly had a moment where I had an idea about the story of the three pigs and the wolf. so think about this, the wolf is the enemy seeking who he may devour and the wolf of course wants to devour the pigs. now think of the three little pigs as us Christians. the first pig makes his house out of straw( relying on ourselves) the wolf comes blows it down and gobbles the pig up. the second pig makes his house out of sticks( works) the wolf comes and blows the house down and gobbles the pig up. the third pig makes his house out of bricks( relying of faith in Jesus) the wolf huffs and puffs but cannot break down the house.

I am sure I will get a lot of upset replies to this but I felt it needed to be said

Broad and wide is the way that leads to destruction for sure......many will come before Jesus bragging about what they have done for him....He will deny them entrance and they will be cast from his presence for sure!

Interesting analogy. I'll have to spend some time pondering this one.

One problem with that is that in the Bible pigs are unclean and God's people are represented as sheep not pigs.

The story could easily be converted into the story of the three little sheep...the wolf works well in this context even better than the traditional folk tale. I can see that you are an artist and one who knows how to pay attention when inspiration strikes. This is certainly one way in which God can reach us and we can hear Him.

Yes I am but I have no doubt in my mind that it was God that made me think of this.
