Ever since the famous recording artist Taylor Swift pulled her music from spotify, the streaming website has only been getting more notoriety. Some may argue that spotify doesn't properly pay their artists enough money and they're absolutely right. However, the truth might be that digital media is nearly worthless with the inclusion of internet piracy. It's my thoughts that Spotify is actually doing artists a favor by allowing more fans to be gained in order to spike concert attendance and revenue. In a world where we're far more connected than ever before, this seems to be the most financially gaining area that artists can hold on to.
