I would rather be around some one who has their faith in the work of the cross and the Holy Spirit producing fruit in them and through them. Come on what did the law do except condemn us to hell?
It takes faith to be obedient to God.
That is faith in God.

I had rather be around someone
who is trying to be obedient to God
than someone who who has not faith in
the Word of God.

Then what about the New Testament?

Grace and Truth witnesses, isn't the Law of CHRIST, written in the Gospels, sums up to these 'Two Commandments'?

Isn't the Old was given by Moses?

Isn't the New was given by JESUS?

Moses gave the Old Covenant at the mount, after redeeming GOD's people from the bondage of Egypt, by performing 'miracles. Since they were given by Moses, it was called the 'Law of Moses'.

JESUS gave the New Covenant, also at the mount (called sermon on the mount), after redeeming GOD's people from the bondage of sin and death, by also performing 'miracles'. Since they were given by JESUS, it is called the 'Law of _______'?

The 'Law of CHRIST' given and written in the New Covenant, are 'practices' called upon every believer. For these are the 'righteous spiritual practices' for all believers, that the 'righteous requirement' of GOD's Law from the beginning, can be 'fulfilled in a 'freed' spirit-man, born of the HOLY SPIRIT and not at all in a 'bound' carnal-man, born of the 'flesh'.
Where do you get that Moses gave the Old Covenant?

Exo 24:3 And Moses came and told the people all the words of the LORD, and all the judgments: and all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words which the LORD hath said will we do.

God gave the Old Covenant...

Exo 20:1 And God spake all these words, saying,

Exo 19:3 And Moses went up unto God, and the LORD called unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel;
Exo 19:4 Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself.
Exo 19:5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:
Exo 19:6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

Moses was just the transcriptionist here.

You are less likely to commit sin if you are around
someone who is trying to less likely commit sin.

Obeying the commandments of God will cause you to less likely commit sin.

This is a fact.

This is truth.

And when you less likely commit sin

You will more likely be closer to God.

NOW WHO CAN ARGUE WITH THIS?

I don't believe that you really want to share the Good News but that your goal is to stir up trouble. This is not my first time around. I have squashed your kind before.
Fixed it for ya!

In the bible Jesus got criticized for hanging out with sinners and prostitutes. However, I am sure that He will chose not to argue with you because He knows that He is right.

The thing is JH that what is the purpose of your aggressive behavior? Do you not want to fulfill the commission given to us by Jesus to spread the gospel and help save souls? You come in with guns blazing calling all the brothers and sisters sinners which we are by the way including you. But where is the love? I don't feel that you know or love God. So how can you help to spread the gospel and obey the commandments which all 10 are about love. Love and loyalty to God in the first 4 and love and brotherhood in the last 6?

That just made it even worse for you.
Physician, heal thyself.

Is Jesus divine, one of the three persons of the one God?

Did Jesus' sacrificial death propitiate for the sin of those who believe in him?

Does faith in Jesus' propitiation give one a guiltless, rightwise standing before God?

Does the obedience of faith by the power of Holy Spirit sanctify and transform one into the image of Christ?

Does God forgive the confessed sin of the born again, his children?

Does seeking righteousness according to the law condemn or make righteous?

Give an account of thyself.

He did get criticized for the same from the self-righteous, but, at the same time, He plainly stated that He "hung out with" the same to call them to repentance.

"If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him. Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. " (I John 2:29-3:10)

No offense, but you'd better deal with the above. Quite frankly, you sound just like one of the aforementioned deceivers.
Did you notice, in your rush to impugn me, that the passage, in context, deals with the promise of eternal life, not a fearsome worry that it can be lost through sin? Well, of course you did, and you were hoping no one else would notice, either. Either that, you just subscribe to bad doctrine.

1 John 2, NASB
25 This is the promise which He Himself made to us: eternal life.
26 These things I have written to you concerning those who are trying to deceive you.
27 As for you, the anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you; but as His anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you abide in Him.

28
Now, little children, abide in Him, so that when He appears, we may have confidence and not hrink away from Him in shame at His coming. [Emphasis mine]

Who were you saying teaches a false doctrine?

I was saying that YOU are teaching false doctrine and, ironically, in your attempted refutation of the same, you only managed to prove my point. Why do you suppose that John was warning his readers about those who were seeking to seduce them if they couldn't be seduced?

Can't read plain English, huh? Can't help you, then. But I'll try to break it down for you in simpler terms so you might understand.

The believer is guided by the Holy Spirit and the Word of God. The believer is not bound by the Old Testament Law or the rules of legalists, including those who would claim that we must generate righteousness ourselves (Gal. 5:1, 25). Liberty in Christ is not an excuse for sin (Rom. 13:13-14; 6:1-13; Gal. 5:13), but God’s grace teaches us that we should deny ungodliness and worldly desires and should live sensible, righteous, and godly lives for the sake of Christ, not our salvation(Titus 2:11-13).

Saved people should live in such a way that they do not bring reproach to the name of Christ. Separation from religious apostasy (of which you and others who claim salvation can be lost are guilty), compromise, sinful and worldly practices, and unscriptural associations is clearly commanded in God's Word (2 Tim. 3:1-5; 1 John 2:15-17; 2 John 9-11; 2 Cor. 6:14-7:1). If a person is truly saved, he not only should, but will, manifest a life of constant obedience to the Word of God (1 John 2:3-5), a fervent love for other believers (1 John 3:14-19; 4:7, 20) and a daily walk that is characterized by righteousness and Christlikeness (Gal. 5:22-23; 1 John 2:29; 3:10).

Author Brennan Manning, whose best known work is The Ragamuffin Gospel, said , "The greatest single cause of atheism in the world today is Christians, who acknowledge Jesus with their lips and walk out the door and deny Him by their lifestyle. That is what an unbelieving world simply finds unbelievable." Christians must live in Christlikeness, but not out of fear of losing something they had nothing to do with gaining in the first place. We do it because we love Christ, it benefits our faith, and it draws others near to Him.

The biggest difference in you and me is I don’t live in fear. You do. And if you say you don’t, then you have just denied this false gospel you preach.

I'll address the rest of your response later, but for now...

While you're on one knee, as depicted in your avatar, why not repent before God for your immaturity?

Is Jesus of Nazareth the absolute and only way to God, barring all others and all other ways,

including barring yourself as a way?

The Holy Ghost is the absolute and only way to God.

...unless he just means the following:

"Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost." (I Corinthians 12:3)

He clearly denies Jesus as the way to God.

Jesus is just one of several teachers enjoying equal footing.
