I do not know the burden before you, so if this does not apply thats ok.
Yes, as another said, we are to lay our burdens at Jesus's feet.
Sometimes though Jesus shows us how to do so.
Jesus showed me that I needed to ask why is this a burden?
If the answer falls under pride, reputation, wanting justice, maby it is simply another who enjoys tormenting you, well the list can be long indeed.
What Jesus asked me to look to, is this simple question, is this burden born of flesh, the world?
For such things we need to, in Jesus, give to God, trusting in Him for what is His will, what ever the outcome.
Sometimes the outcome, the answer, is simple, my grace is sufficient for you.
Sometimes, we are called to let go of the flesh that holds us, so that the burden, torment, will no longer have any hold on us.
It means letting go of flesh, for this is what we are called to do in Jesus, simply because as He said,"in the world you have tribulation, but take courage, I have overcome the world!"
It is in going to Jesus, that we recieive and know this victory, and what was a burden, no longer has any hold on us.
It was Jesus speaking to becoming least, that helped me to understand and know this freedom.
But look to Jesus, as He is your true teacher, and knows best what you need.
Jesus will teach you, and the freedom and streangth of His loving sacrifice and victory over the world, will trully free you!
God bless
