As believers must believe in the Sacred Word of ABBA(GOD) because believers cannot accept or reject parts of the Sacred Word. How can folks believe in the resurrection of JESUS CHRIST, but reject GIFTS of GOD. Men do not have final authority over the Sacred Word because the Holy Spirit gives revelation of ABBA's TRUTH. Are believers seeking the THRONE OF ABBA(GOD) for Truth, wisdom, and understanding of spiritual matters or seeking man's opinion?

[h=1]Luke 11:9-13New King James Version (NKJV)[/h][h=3]Keep Asking, Seeking, Knocking[/h]9 “So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. 11 If a son asks for bread[a] from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish?12 Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? 13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”

[h=1]Matthew 7 Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)[/h][h=3]Keep Asking, Searching, Knocking[/h]7 “Keep asking,[c] and it will be given to you. Keep searching,[d] and you will find. Keep knocking,[e] and the door[f] will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives, and the one who searches finds, and to the one who knocks, the door[g] will be opened. 9 What man among you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11 If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good things to those who ask Him! 12 Therefore, whatever you want others to do for you, do also the same for them—this is the Law and the Prophets.[h

Seek ABBA in all spiritual matters of your faith to receive wisdom, revelation, discernment, understanding, and truth through the Holy Spirit.

Lets discuss the gifts of ABBA that are mention in the Sacred Word.

Matthew 7:11 - If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
James 1:17 - Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
James 1:5 - If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all [men] liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
Romans 12:6 - Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, [let us prophesy] according to the proportion of faith;
John 14:17 - [Even] the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
1 Corinthians 14:1 - Follow after charity, and desire spiritual [gifts], but rather that ye may prophesy. Charity(Love)

[h=1]1 Corinthians 12:1 - 12:31[/h]Now viewing scripture range from the book of 1 Corinthians chapter 12:1 through chapter 12:31...

[h=3]1 Corinthians Chapter 12[/h][SUP]1[/SUP] Now concerning spiritual [gifts], brethren, I would not have you ignorant.
[SUP]2[/SUP] Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led.
[SUP]3[/SUP] Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and [that] no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
[SUP]4[/SUP] Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
[SUP]5[/SUP] And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.
[SUP]6[/SUP] And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.
[SUP]7[/SUP] But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
[SUP]8[/SUP] For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
[SUP]9[/SUP] To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
[SUP]10[/SUP] To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another [divers] kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:
[SUP]11[/SUP] But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
[SUP]12[/SUP] For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also [is] Christ.
[SUP]13[/SUP] For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether [we be] Jews or Gentiles, whether [we be] bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
[SUP]14[/SUP] For the body is not one member, but many.
[SUP]15[/SUP] If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
[SUP]16[/SUP] And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
[SUP]17[/SUP] If the whole body [were] an eye, where [were] the hearing? If the whole [were] hearing, where [were] the smelling?
[SUP]18[/SUP] But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.
[SUP]19[/SUP] And if they were all one member, where [were] the body?
[SUP]20[/SUP] But now [are they] many members, yet but one body.
[SUP]21[/SUP] And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
[SUP]22[/SUP] Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:
[SUP]23[/SUP] And those [members] of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely [parts] have more abundant comeliness.
[SUP]24[/SUP] For our comely [parts] have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that [part] which lacked:
[SUP]25[/SUP] That there should be no schism in the body; but [that] the members should have the same care one for another.
[SUP]26[/SUP] And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.
[SUP]27[/SUP] Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
[SUP]28[/SUP] And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
[SUP]29[/SUP] [Are] all apostles? [are] all prophets? [are] all teachers? [are] all workers of miracles?
[SUP]30[/SUP] Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?
[SUP]31[/SUP] But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.

[h=1]Mark 16 Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)[/h][h=3]The Great Commission[/h]14 Later, He appeared to the Eleven themselves as they were reclining at the table. He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who saw Him after He had been resurrected. 15 Then He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to the whole creation.16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: In My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages; 18 they will pick up snakes;[b][FONT=Helvetica Neue, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif] [/FONT][FONT=Helvetica Neue, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif]if they should drink anything deadly, it will never harm them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will get well.”[/FONT]

Why debate about the gifts that ABBA gives to the Body of Christ? Is the Sacred Word of ABBA true or untrue? These gifts are written in the New Testament, Christians are always stating they are under the New Testament so why debate with the Sacred Word and each other. This causes strife, anger, division, chaos, resentment, and forgiveness among believers. The devil is rejoicing that his tactics are working against the Body of Christ. A person can reject the gifts of ABBA, but a true believer is accepting of gifts giving from above and trust in ABBA wisdom.

No problem with gifts sis, it's just when they become the main emphasis rather than the Gift Giver :)

Agreed; but dismissing them is just as bad as over-emphasizing them. Maybe worse.

I took a spiritual gift test today just for fun and my dominant gifts were mercy, serving and shepherding/pastor. That last one made me laugh because it's simply not true

When whole congregations bust out into gibberish and call it a prayer language or end the service seizuring on the ground. And I mean everyone who was a regular there, you realize 99% of the time these 'gifts' are nothing more than group delusions.

yea...I'm gonna have to agree for the most part. Some just do it because they feel that is what's expected. So they copycat.

Or what about barking, howling or laughing crazy like. :rolleyes: What unbeliever would want Christ if they think the Lord will possess them, turning them into a fool in public or seemingly demon possessed?

Jesus is the Prince of Peace.

What if someone actually had a for real seizure and no one knew, until after that whole group spectacle was over, cause everyone thought "they were just be blessed by the Lawd"? Where is the order in such things?

He is not a God of confusion.
