... which is the worst sin ..The ones that do or the ones that provide?
The question is asked from a human perspective. With God, there is no difference.

I guess you forgot that GOD DEFINED WHAT A MARRIAGE IS, and the Gay Rights movement with the help of the US Supreme Court's far left Democratic Judges, stole the title Marriage, and redefined GOD's Definition of what a Marriage is.
Why rant and rage on the Supreme Court?

I guess you forgot that prior to the decision gay marriage was already legal in 37 states and D.C.

Around three-fourths of Americans believe that same sex couples have a constitutional right to marry.

Gay marriage was a done deal before the Supreme Court ruling. It was just a matter of time before every state made it legal. A few states, where you have the most legalistic fundies and YECs, might have delayed it for a few years.

Actually, I thank the fundies and YECs for gay marriage.

They rant and rage spouting so much nonsense that many doubt anything they say has much credibility.

Saints I have a true story ..a friend of mine was asked To go to a certain part of India to speak he is a christian that travels and debates these issues. Anyways after the conference a man came up to him and asked him to go to a certain part of town to show him something. He agreed and went to this place where business men and women from all over the world travel to do their dirty deeds. The shocking truth he had witnessed was that these business people were buying 6 to8 month old babies to have their way with them. The man that brought him there after explaining about the police turning the other way for the love of money asked him this question. .........which is the worst sin ..The ones that do or the ones that provide?
Or the ones that turn their back on the injustice?

1 Corinthians 6:9 (NASB)
[SUP]9 [/SUP] Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals,
Is masturbation fornication?

Like I said...I don't know the case or errors involved in the case, but no matter what it don't mean we should approve and promote sexual perversion in our society.
I agree, but the Supreme Court isn't promoting it, merely recognizing it. See the other discussing we were having as I clearly articulated how God allowing us the free will TO sin doesn't mean God is promoting sin.

Are you wanting to make a law so folks can do it in public and call it protected speech?
Just women.

Actually, I have this theory that lesbianism definitely isn't sinful behavior.

Do you believe that fallen angels came to earth and seduced human women, as some say it says in Genesis 6?

Lol, non-christian "christians" like you are one of the strongest arguments for fundamentalism and YEC. Seeing OECs like you so clearly not believing the Bible just makes YEC that much more credible. Change your profile status to dont know or not christian because you clearly dont believe the Bible.

You are naive if you think "recognizing" it in such a way doesnt promote it.

How is that naive?

Answer the question I asked the other poster then...

If God allows His children to sin (via free will) and we all agree God clearly does not promote sin, why do you claim the government allowing gay marriages in all states is promoting gay marriage?

Either God promotes sin because He allows us free win to sin (if we abuse it) and the Supreme Court is promoting gay marriage, or both allow for it, but neither are promoting it.

One of the fundamental roles of the government is to protect our liberties. All the Supreme Court is doing is allowing a portion of the people the same liberty that heterosexual couples have. It's morally wrong, but the government is not my moral compass or God.

Romans 6
15 What then? Shall we sin because we are not under the law but under grace? By no means! 16 Don’t you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey—whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness? 17 But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you have come to obey from your heart the pattern of teaching that has now claimed your allegiance. 18 You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness.
19 I am using an example from everyday life because of your human limitations. Just as you used to offer yourselves as slaves to impurity and to ever-increasing wickedness, so now offer yourselves as slaves to righteousness leading to holiness.20 When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the control of righteousness. 21 What benefit did you reap at that time from the things you are now ashamed of? Those things result in death! 22 But now that you have been set free from sinand have become slaves of God,the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life. 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in[b]Christ Jesus our Lord.

Don't muddy OEC and homosexuality together. I don't know a single old earth creationist who is a genuine Christian adhering to the essentials of Christianity that condones the sexually immoral sin of lesbian homosexuality and I say this as an RTB certified science apologist which means I've met a whole bunch of them.

JackH would be the first to make that mistake in experience and I would argue that if he is, in fact, doing so then he is not adhering to the essentials of Christianity.

It is sad you think God is the same as the supreme court.

God created us in his image with free will. We sin using that free will. God did not create us without the possibility of sinning, then decide it is ok for us to sin and make it easy for us to sin, as well as make sin more likely for future generations.

the supreme court took something they didnt create and twisted it. They promote gay marriage by allowing the normalization of gay marriage and homosexuality. God never normalized sin. Just because you have a small view of God that puts him on the level of a supreme court justice doesnt lower him there, it simply shows how you see God and how wrong you are about him.

What is your "moral" compass? whatever feels good to you? Then try to get others to approve your behavior?

Im not muddying them together. JackH is an OEC obsessed believer in a false God that condones gay marriage. I was making the point that his lack of actual faith was a great argument against OEC.

Um, when did I say "God and the Supreme Court are the same"? I'm debunking the PREMISE that "allowing" does not EQUATE to "promoting." What better example could I give to debunk such a faulty premise than by using our Almighty Father in Heaven?! lol

The bold part: I have no idea what you're saying. That sentence needs restructuring as my reading comprehension must be terrible. What are you saying exactly?

If I understand, you're saying that because the Supreme Court ruled to recognize gay marriage, it is simultaneously going to make more people "turn gay" for future generations?

The fact gay people will get civilly married isn't the sin, it's their homosexuality that is the sin. Had the Supreme Court NOT ruled to recognize gay marriage in all the states, guess what... gay people would still be practicing homosexuality. You have to be naive to believe otherwise.
