YAZ,
You have to understand that no one is perfect, and that we all go through ups and downs in some point in our lives because of sin in this world. However, we strive to become like Jesus, though we will never become perfect until we enter heaven, so if you have any goals of perfectionism, you need to let that go. Let it be, and let God transform you to who He wants you to become as you walk and grow with him, not the way you desire to become at this time. God is working each day to change us, to sanctify us and make us holy. He's slowly changing us, but not at the rate you may want, but trust Him for what He has already done in your life, is doing, and will continue to do. All things will work together for your good, and for those who are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).
We also should never compare our lives with others. What matters is that you are abiding in His word and walking in His Spirit, then you will grow at the pace that God wants you to grow. As He teaches you through each life's circumstances and hardships, we learn to overcome them and succeed. He will work in our hearts to cleanse us of any impurities, so that we will be without blemish when we see Him in person.
Right now, you are feeling hopeless, but God has never meant for you to feel that way. You have to overcome this sense of hopelessness, and turn your head to focus on Jesus Christ and what God's words say. As Christians, we have every ounce of reason to be hopeful for. Hopeful towards how God has a relationship with us, and that He is there to listen to us each day. Hopeful to be called His child, and that you will enter eternal salvation and life with Him. Hopeful, that the penalty of our sins has been paid by Jesus Christ, and that as long as we confess our sins, God forgives us, and we can begin anew each day. Hopeful that if we have any troubles, fears, anxiety, and feelings of despair, we can cast our cares upon God to carry our burdens. Oh, we have so much to look forward to in hope and to be hopeful for...
If you are feeling hopeless, remember God's promises for the hope He has promised you:
Scriptures about Hope
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
God says He has plans to GIVE YOU HOPE.
1 Corinthians 13:13
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
Always KEEP HOPE WITH you!
Ephesians 1:11-12
In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory.
Our hope is set upon Jesus Christ!
Ephesians 1:18-23
I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.
Our hope is in God's glory, His power and strength.
Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
Hopeful towards God's promises of eternal life, and the things we have prayed for in faith, and that God will answer them.
