Love it when gals say that to each other in public, where I can hear them. "He's good looking and nice, but he's short..."
Really gals? Made me feel like telling them their "imperfections" out loud, without looking at them.

i just don't understand how in college, i could function on 3-4 hrs of sleep, but i can't now.

is it because... i'm no longer... in my 20's? :( lol

What was the last thing you made? Im working on my first sweater. Years of scarves, socks, and placemats were enough...lol. we will see how it turns out.

With just crochet stitches, a blanket with what I call popcorn stitch. With knitting machine, a blanket, with crocheted scalloped ruffled edge. I've done a baby sweater, bear, and I think booties before. But usually end up doing blankets for baby presents, or special requests. When I have more time and money, I may delve into the more fancier stuff.

Have you ever tried loom knitting. I've done a few scarves that way, and have actually tried making a sock. (Need a lot more work on doing socks.)

Never tried loom...I like working with the needles. I have always wanted to make a blanket but the cost of the yarn would be intense. I have a king size bed and calculated the cost to knit a blanket to fit and yikes...not to mention time. I will be knitting a throw after this sweater for the couch though. I have no babies in the family yet but cant wait to knit a few items for them when and if they arrive !!

You are right. But what I dont understand is why we hurt the ones we love. We broken people always mess up one way or another.

That's true, Tinkerbell. I think that there are some in the world who always hurt and there are others who are always hurt; rarely do the roles reverse.
