There are many who are victims of false teaching, and so entrenched, that I'm convinced that THEY're convinced they have the truth, and many probably mean well, (sincere but sincerely wrong?), so we really need to exercise some grace here. (Maybe we're being 'tested'?) I don't see anyone being openly antagonistic towards our Lord Jesus Christ, the way others I've dealt with have been (i.e. muslms, jw's, etc.), but R.C. teaching can often be harder to present the truth to, because so much of it seems to be so close. I DO believe there are R.C.s that are saved, but it's IN SPITE of the 'church', not BECAUSE of it. So let's pray for, and continue to reason with those here who may YET be our brothers in Christ. For Jesus' sake and God's glory. (thus endeth my little between round lecture. Ding!)
If the Church that Jesus personally started is not the truth, then none are the truth. You should ask yourself why you deny the very Church Jesus sent to teach you Christianity

Matt28:18-20

18 And Jesus coming, spoke to them, saying: All power is given to me in heaven and in earth.
19 Going therefore, teach ye all nations: baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost.
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you. And behold I am with you all days, even to the consummation of the world.

There are two judgments. The White Throne, and the judgment of the saints. The judgment of the saints has no penalties.

Romans 8:1,2 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, [SUP]2 [/SUP]because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.

Yes indeed; the Church has a date at the Bema, Judgment Seat of Christ -- not at the Great White Throne. #3 is The Judgment of the Sheep & Goats (for how they treated a 3rd group, "Christ's Brethren" is mentioned in Matthew 25.

Actually Judgment & Salvation are 2 different subjects. Clearly Judgment is by works, while salvation is always by grace through faith. I think many ignorantly think of "salvation" as the outcome of some judgment of works. I suppose we could call it the outcome of a judgment by Christ's work on the cross, but not the outcome of some judgment of men in the future.

Salvation is most clearly described in this statement:

"Thou shalt call His name Jesus,
for He shall save His people from their sins."

Salvation is not something that is awarded for not having sins. Salvation is the work of Christ in delivering the believer from his sins. We come to Him for rest, cast ourselves on Him in dependence. He promises He will save us from our sins. & boy do we need it! We need a transformation.

Come ye sinners, Tired & weary,
Weak & wounded, Sick & sore;

If you tarry 'till you're better,
You will never come at all.
Not the righteous, not the righteous,
Sinners Jesus came to call.

The arm of my Savior is long,
& the hand of my Savior is strong;
Through sunshine or rain,
through loss or in gain;
The blood flows from Calvary to cleanse every stain.

Here is my Savior in action:

And Peter . . . when he saw the wind, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried out, saying, Lord, save me. 31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and took hold of him"

whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be saved

If you sin, you belong to the devil and are not in Jesus

Gal:2:17:
17 But if, while we seek to be justified in Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is Christ then the minister of sin? God forbid!

If you think Jesus is a license to serve the devil and live a life of sin, then you deceive yourself

When you die, you go to judgment immediately

Heb:9:27:
27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, and after this the judgment:

1Jn:3:8:
8 He that committeth sin is of the devil: for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God appeared, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

And as Scripture clearly states... Romans 8:1,2. Do you really think you can be indwelt with God, the Holy Spirit, and still be condemned?

See comment #822.

God states plainly those who sin belong to the devil; you people need to ask yourselves why you deny the very Word of God

As I stated, you love your sins, and this is why you refuse to believe God's very Word

The Word of God is a testimony against you, this is why you people murdered Jesus

Jn:7:7:
7 The world cannot hate you: but me it hateth, because I give testimony of it, that the works thereof are evil,

Some accept Jesus and are saved from sin, are others remain in their sin and continue to serve the devil

You have made your desire to serve the devil clear - the wages of your sin is death

You need to have someone explain that to you, because apparently you are reading it wrong. I think here is what many of you seem to think, or want to believe, it says "For all are sinning and are going to sin and fall short of the glory of God".
You folks need to not only leave the strong meat alone and go back to milk, you need to leave advanced english alone and go back to basics...you know, like what is past, present, and future tense.

Where does it mention two judgments? I am aware of two resurrections, but only of the White Throne judgments. There is , of course an unspoken judgment of the 144,000. And of the White Throne judgments, even the saved are judged to determine their rewards. What did I miss?

1Jn:3:9:
9 Whosoever is born of God committeth not sin: for his seed abideth in him. And he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
1Jn:3:10:
10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil. Whosoever is not just is not of God, or he that loveth not his brother.

how about you? did you not?

without sin, i take it?

worthy of casting the first stone?

you've read 1 John chapter 1?
You've made your love for sin clear - It is God's WORD that testifies you are the child of the devil - not my judgment
