*giggles at the silly people who think Nuhen doesn't know Hebrew*
I've known Nuhen for years guys. He does know Hebrew, though we're both still working on being able to read fluently in the Hebrew script rather than transliteration, which is prolly where the confusion just there came in. And no, he didn't have to look up the Shema, he just didn't reply immediately to your post. There's no crime in being busy, is there? So no, he's no professor, he's a student. Which is what he claimed to be.
As to the actual thread, my thoughts on communion are somewhat scattered. On the one hand I totally understand the Seder concept, and on the other hand there's my mum's belief (she didn't make it up, but I forget all the books she learned all this from) that communion happens every time believers gather and fellowship and share a meal in Jesus' name.
In both cases though, communion is more a meal than a little wafer thing and a sip of wine.
HOWEVER, I will say that I love when I get to take communion at church. I don't think it's quite what Jesus meant, but it is a beautiful ceremony nonetheless.
