If you want to post about it, get the spelling correct. Not a grammar nazi, but just so tired of seeing this word spelled wrong over and over and over!

Lots of people getting paid to work on cars that call themselves "expert" mechanic. I'm better than most of them. The only place we are on even ground is in God's sight, not in one's field of expertise.
I spent a lot of time googling this. Wrong is a synonym for "incorrect." It seems like Americans tend to using "wrong" with moral judgements, but in fact, wrong can equally be used for a mistake, such as a spelling one. Having been schooled in the British system (at least in my day in Canada!) I was taught that both could be used in either case.

Word nerd to word nerd, (I love words, so being a word nerd is a good thing to me. lol) Synonym doesn't always make it the same. Synonyms for walk:
stroll, strut, saunter, trudge, sashay, hike, waddle, stomp, shuffle, march.
(I'm writing a novel, so I can't go off and say everyone is walking. lol)
As for the Oxford? We are Americans. I know it is said that England and the US is divided by a common language, but, frankly? Poor Canada is caught in the crossfire. We'll accept y'all don't talk like us, if you accept I can also say "you" for plural-you and can even "youse" on occasion. We're just not Oxford Dictionary material.
And you lose me completely if you start talking "the Oxford comma." I don't even get the American comma!

Wrong can be a synonym for incorrect but the word wrong implies a moral error while incorrect isn't used this way. We were always taught in school that it was grammatically improper to use them synonymously because wrong represents a moral question while incorrect represents a mistake in one's action or thought that has no moral implications. But, that was a long time ago. I would not at all be surprised to hear that this rule of grammar as changed. Seems like every time I turn around some rule has changed particularly with the use of punctuation marks.

Lol, you're not reading enough then on here. Not sure if any of the people are prophets per se, but much veritable prophecies posted on CC indeed. Even in this thread.
