I wish I had any kind of technical knowledge of how to record music. But I haven't... none at all.

You have only to ask. What are you wanting to do? Record an instrument you are playing? Record a playback of an old record or cassette to preserve the music? Record a whole band?

20 loaves of bread done and stashed in the freezer. And for a miraculous change I washed all the loaf pans THE SAME DAY! This is a wonder, as I usually leave them for the next day.

Also: hair was cut, chili was made, water bottles were refilled at the spring, music practice CD was left at church for someone to pick up, a story was finished and I got some work done on a soundtrack.

Maybe I should ask for a day off more often. Get some stuff done around here.

Thanks Lynx, just record my playing guitar and singing. I don't want to spend any money on it either, so there's that. :) I know... I want all the things but no effort or money spent.

Like... zero money, none at all? You don't have to buy a really expensive mic. (If you want a pro recording you go to a studio, THEY already have the expensive mics.)

If you don't want to spend a single dollar, you could just get Audacity (free program) and use it with your computer's onboard mic. Make sure to turn off background noise like air conditioners first.

I could walk you through setup and recording if you want.

I use audacity too. :) Its really all one needs as far as decent recording software.. but before that I just used my handheld camera which also records video, then I transfer it to the computer via a usb card reader and then upload it to youtube.

You know what I think is amazing is the fact that Winnie The Pooh's been around since........ 1926!! (and that's not a typo) And kids everywhere still love him and his friends.

I love Winnie the Pooh so much that I have thought that when I have a son, I will name him Christopher Robin. But I guess the other half has to agree with me on that. :p

That moment when you cry through almost an entire movie and can't wait to see it again...what is wrong with me?

I don't know, MissCris. It doesn't sound like anything's wrong with you. Just curious: what movie was it?
