Indeed. Exciting times we live in, finally some push back against islam and now some progress in destroying the dixie cult. Praise Jesus, it's not too late for America yet.

Aye. Though I find this case to be more significant because they're actually removing the idols, instead of just the symbols. I don't think even some of the Confederate generals and figures would have wanted them to make idols to them.

New Orleans is ONE OF THE MOST, if not THE MOST Pagan City in America, and they are ONLY REMOVING Confederate Statues? Well..............anyway

Indeed, let's get those idols next. Tear down the dixie cult, tear down the voodoo cult. Problems solved.

You mean like the Baptists making a statue of Billy Graham, or all the major Universities making statues of their famous or favorite football coaches, or all the statues decorating the various State Houses across the Nation, or ALL THE STATUES adorning the National Mall in Washington, DC?

And that horrid paganistic idol the Statue of Liberty............

Indeed tear them down too, get rid of them all.

EDIT: Lol don't get me started on the idol of false liberty. That's the prime target, #1 on the list.

So a statue of General Lee is evil. People who were fighting for states rights were evil. Careful what you wish for.

Council member Nadine Ramsey said New Orleans needed to stop living "underneath the shadows" of monuments to people who supported slavery.
"We need not honor these individuals and moments from the past that do not meet our standards of decency, equality and nondiscrimination," she said.
Council member Stacy Head cast the only vote against taking down the monuments, saying the action would create more division and not solve the city's real problems.
Essentially, city officials can't solve any of the cities problems, so they invented a problem and said they solved it. They can't stop all the crime, especially the huge increase in murder. The economy sucks. They lost half the tax base after Katrina. And now, they have city council members screaming about getting rid of historic figures that would include changing the faces on our currency and removing names from the Declaration of Independence. Brilliant. Let's all become PC and see how many actual problems it solves.

How about removing the names Kennedy and MLK from street signs and high schools because they both had dozens of adulterous affairs? And bulldoze the Clinton library for all his misbehavior.

Yup according to the Bible the statues are no good. Let their idols all be torn down.

As for changing street names and what not can't find anything in the Bible against them, but if you want to do that, go for it. I'll support that. Not a fan of JFK and what not.

You miss the point, as always. The people you are applauding are idiots and have failed the citizens of New Orleans. If they had their way, they would remove the names of most of our founding fathers from historical records. There are a thousand things more important for their city council to address. This changes nothing for the people. They are not safer. The roads and bridges are not going to be repaired. Taxes are still going up, not down. This is PC police trying to do something to prove they deserve their paychecks.

What exactly is the "Dixie Cult"?
I would say the Dixie cult are the ones who refuse to admit that the civil war was indeed fought over slavery and hold these abominable men as heroes

Good stuff! Now it's high time Adelaide, South Australia got rid of its huge new Buddha idol at Sellicks Beach. It's an 18 metre monstrosity 'designed' to bring peace, harmony, prosperity and wealth to SA. I think the 'goddess of mercy' has the potential to usher in more demonic activity than anything else. Yes, I know it's just a physical sculpture of mankind worshipping itself and that the real problem is found in humanity's sinful hearts, but such a thing still makes me uneasy. Especially since Australia used to be a Judeo/Christian nation and South Australia is home to very, very few Buddhists.
