is this from the last debate? i missed it
Lol Apparently WrestleMania 23 according to the video. Not a big wrestling fan but found that one a many months ago thought it was funny.

Does kinda make one see the similarities with Trump and Putin and why they surprisingly get along. Really goes back to the main question on Trump and his pledge to be the greatest Christian president ever.

Trump; servant and man of the people or potential leader of a cult of personality?

Nay, there is always hope in Jesus.

Even if we get a bad president it's not totally over. President is kinda overrated anyways, the president isn't the leader. I'm the leader, and so are you, and all US citizens are as much as they assert themselves to be. The government is just servants, so for now we have our lil checks and balances and means and methods to try to keep them in line or mitigate the risks any individual or factions pose. Not a perfect system, but we're not totally defenseless either.
Had me fooled since Herr 'Bama has taken office and the Judiciary keeps declaring unconstitutional the propositions the people have voted for.

Lol perhaps so. Haven't seen you talk about any of the other candidates.

At least Trump is proposing ways to curtail islam. As long as he stands strong on that he's going to keep doing well.

If this thread cannot remain a civil discussion without users calling into question each others character, salvation, or moral standing it will be closed and infractions issued.

If you think this does not apply to you.............think again.

Lol that's because there aren't many Fiorina supporters. Who wants to support one of the worst CEOs in modern history that lost her company half its value and lost to Barbra Boxer?

I do agree you are the most conservative person on this website indeed lady Rachel. I have thought that a long time. Which is in part why I am interested in your GOP short list.

My comment is more to the point that the establishment conservatives have not really offered any clear alternatives. If the rest of the GOPers cannot agree to a competent alternative then they have only themselves to blame if Trump wins the nomination and hijacks their party. Primaries are still a ways away, but it's getting down to crunch time very soon. Trump will prevail for remaining resolute while the rest are divided and cannot agree to a viable alternative. Simple as that.

As for myself I still have not abandoned Kasich, but my primary is a lil bit later on, we'll have to see if he's still in it by then. If he drops out I will go with Trump.

This issue of this topic is the key moment for Trump. Not just him, but it revealed a lot about our politicians. These politicians, leftists and conservatives, are trying to protect islam and let it continue to proliferate in our society and are the same people that crackdown on the people that speak out against it. Trump will protect the people and crackdown on islam instead. Trump has proven himself worthy to be the nominee at the least.

I don't want to choose from either Trump or Clinton, but I would love to see their first debate. I know that's why the media gurus are doing their best to get Trump nominated.

well the first thing to point out is that aside from trump and cruz and paul the serious republican primary candidates this season are the most conservative that any serious candidates have been since reagan...so for certain people to condemn nearly all of them as 'liberals' or 'RINOs' is ridiculous...

given that fact...i will say that just about all of the candidates aside from trump and cruz and paul are easily acceptable to me...of course some such as rubio or santorum will impress me more than others such as kasich or graham...but i would be able to vote for any of them aside from the three i mentioned...

immigration and radical islam are really not relevant to this campaign from a constitutional conservative point of view...because none of the candidates running have actually presented solutions that adhere to the principle of limited government... the ones who have made these issues the centerpiece of their campaign...such as trump...have taken unconstitutional big government positions that disqualify them from having anything meaningful to say about the issue as far as conservatives are concerned...

so basically neither immigration nor radical islam can be used as 'litmus tests' for judging the candidates because none of them have presented a solution that is satisfactory for a limited government conservative...these two issues are irrelevant to consistent conservatives and so far have only been used to gain support from republicans for expanding government...

so as a consistent constitutional conservative i have to tune out these distractions and focus on the candidates' other credentials...and aside from trump and cruz and paul...all of them are sufficiently conservative and constitutionalist that i could vote for them...

Lol, well that shows why Trump will win the nomination at least if this mentality prevails. The conservatives will take anyone, yet they cannot coalesce in agreement on that one. Lol also it seems to me the most constitutionalist though would want to vote for Rand Paul who is consistently, even annoyingly, invoking the US Constitution and actually does have plans and records in voting of working towards the approach you ascribe to, albeit without the war. Also lil Rand Paul has been the most vocal opponent of Trump in the debates, each and every one of them. It is kinda humorous to me knowing you are very anti-Paulite.

As for my opinion on Paul, I actually like him, if he were to rise in the polls and my good servant Kasich were to drop out before my primary rolls around I could be persuaded to vote Rand Paul over Trump if both hold somewhat the same to how they've been performing. I've watched all the GOP debates and even the Democrat debates. Even Bernie Sanders the supposed hippy communist was talking about all these plans for more war. Rand Paul is really the only candidate that I believe wants to end these wars and end funding, training, and giving weapons to Islamic rebels. So he has that going for him. Though I don't like how he is so obedient to the Constitution, I view the US Constitution as a hindrance at the least and an outright problem at the worst. How the US Constitution is at the least of it useless and at the worst of it allows and even empowers Islam is a good example indeed.
