After much consideration and soul searching I've decided that in the new year I am eliminating all social media from my life. My son needs all of me and this takes a piece that I can no longer afford to give. As of Dec 31st at midnight I am asking the mods to eliminate my profile. I appreciate many of you here and I will surely miss our give and take. Some of you I will not miss. Lol. If there is anything you would like to comment about please do and please be nice. :)I am a tender soul. :) Love you all.

I know we haven't really talked. I can't really remember a conversation I had with you. But, with that being said and it might not mean as much to you as others who are closer to you, you will be missed.

PS. I am not closing my profile, but I won't be on as often because I am starting a new advanced Greek course on Jan. 11. I might have to come here occasionally to see the nonsense as I think my brain is going to be stressed out to the max. Sorry to abduct your thread, Sirk!

Reading all your posts made me teary. The truth is that I am really struggling and there are many reasons why. The other day my boy told me he needed more of me and I've know for awhile that he craves more of my attention. 2016 needs to be a time of drawing closer to God for me. I'm really no good to anyone right now. A house divided soon falls and it's time to cut a whole bunch of fat. I've prayed for God to break my heart and he always comes thru on His promises to draw close as you draw close to him.

You will sorely missed, Sirk. We didn't have alot of interaction cuz I read more than I post but I enjoyed you as I'm sure many others did. A sense of humor is such a redeeming quality and in most cases can defuse an uncomfortable situation. One good thing I noticed about you was how gentle you were with young christians, what a lovely quality.

I'm going back to school to learn advanced english :). So we want you to be speaking and writing Greek when you get back. I know you know Greek now but you haven't blessed us with any evidence of it haha.

Ok, other than WarriorForChrist's smart remarks (I jest!) this whole thread is making me teary.

Why do all the good people have to leave? It's ok, Sirk, I know you have been through so much the last while. Just praying God really draws you close, and then uses you for his glory!
